Wait list happy thoughts

My family is on a waitlist for a Sunday night studio in HH in June, we got the Friday and Sat night easily (due to the very high points they were more available) but we are waitlisted for the Sunday night.

I would love to hear some success stories to keep my hopes high while we wait...so please share!!!

I don't have a HH success story but I have one for BWV. I had a one bedroom standard and wanted to switch to a 2BR standard. I waitlisted at the end of September, the trip was for the one I am leaving for this Sunday.

I posted on the boards, asking what people thought my chances were. Most posts were negative, saying they doubted I would get it. Well less than two weeks later I called to check and they had a 2BR standard available! Woohoooooo!! I suggest you call now and then, seems from what I've seen on these boards that what happened to me isn't that unusual--calling to check and something is "found". I am not sure what causes this to happen, all I know is I got lucky. I hope you do too!

We got on the waitlist for a 2BR at HHI in late January/early February. The request was for Sun-Fri any week in June (and so it wasn't a day-by-day automatic request).

Well, we just got the call last week from Member Services saying that June 12-17 came through for us, and we're doing the happy dance. HHI here we come.

Moral of the story: the waitlist can come through for you, even at times and places sometimes considered nearly impossible around here.

You only want one night, so that may have even better odds than our request (although at HHI a studio will be tougher than the 2BR that we requested).
