Wait list for BC?

Just a quick question-I've been pouring over old threads (I'm considering buying into BWV, VWL, or BC thru Disney). I've read many post that say you can get BW or WL relatively quick but the waitlist for buying BC is very long.
WHY is that?

BCV is a smaller resort and with Stormalong Bay, it's a popular resort. It's resale price is the highest of all of the resorts, and people who are buying resale tend to give the higher amount so Disney doesn't exercise ROFR as often. Also, it's the last one to sell out prior to the opening of SSR and so it's owners are among the newest.
