VWL to MK?

We are staying at VWL for the first time in June. We have an early ADR at Crystal Palace for 8:20a. MK opens at 9a that day. We will have a car.

What is our best option for getting to MK early for our ADR? Should we drive ourselves or take the boat? Is there a bus too? Looking for what would be fastest since getting everyone up and out early will be a task. Our true hope is to get to CP before our ADR hoping to be seated early so we are out in time for rope drop.

It's been a few years and I am rusty...What is VWL?
WL would be Wilderness Lodge...Is the the V for Villa's?

You could take a boat to the Contemporary and hop on the monorail to the MK...they start running the boats to the resorts at about 7am the boat that goes direct to MK doesn't start unitl an hour before MK opening. That's what i did in January when staying at the WL.
