VWL should we make this our home resort?

I just want to reiterate that home resort booking only matters if you can use it. We are often able to plan 11 months ahead so we are glad to own at the resort we prefer. But some folks' lives just don't allow for planning more than 7 months ahead, so for them the cheapest points are the best. If OP can use that home resort booking advantage and would be disappointed staying anywhere except VWL, then buy VWL. As DVC continues to grow, booking windows will be ever more important.
