VWL or GF or Poly at Christmas

I have developers points I need to use that's why I may stay at GF or Poly which as of right now would be garden view room (12/23-12/27).

For me it would be VWL then Poly then GF. But at that time of the year I would count myself lucky to get anything. They sell out fast during this week.

How do people do this with no car?

I am going to ship the presents to the resort before I leave. I will have them wrapped and hide them in the room. Lots of Disney Dollars to be given this year!!! My girls will love it though! I will then take an extra suitcase to bring gifts home. You can have things you buy at Disney shipped home.

There is a X-mas tree swap for DVC but I have no idea when it starts.

Also www.peggyssweetsandmore.com will deliver a tree and stockings etc.

I am sooo excited about our first holiday trip!

You know, I think it depends a bit on how much "Christmas" you want at the resort. GF is decorated to the hilt. VWL is my favorite at Christmas time with its downhome Christmas atmosphere. I love the Poly, and they decorate. But that would not be my first choice for Christmas.

You'll need the 11 month advantage to get VWL at Christmas. It's small and books up early. Lots of members own at VWL for Christmas and Thanksgiving.
