VWL/OKW/SSR ?? Likelyhood of happening?

Hi Folks,

We currently have reservations at SSR and stayed there last May (very nice resort, but want to try out others as well). I will be trying to switch over to VWL (4nts) and OKW (3 nts). First, how likely is it that we'll be able to switch over for those nights at those resorts? We'll be arriving on May 7th (sat) and staying til the 14th. Also, how much of a hassle is it to switch resorts mid stay? Are they helpful with the process? Or is the recommendation to stay in one place all the way through? Any suggestions to make it easier? Can't wait to go!

I think you've got a good shot in early May. Call on the first day...7 months out and let MS know what you are planning to do. They will let you know if you should call day by day. WLV will probably be more difficult to get in to over OKW...but I really don't think you will have a problem with either during that timeframe.

I also think it should be a problem... and would even do the waitlist with high confidence....

As far as switching resorts..... We have done it once and I kinda liked focusing in on the activities around one resort, then doing the same at the new resort....

When our kids are older... I see us doing split resorts more...

But... switch over days can be a pain... you have to check out by 11am then you may not get your new room until 4... if you planning a park day that day, it could be seemless.... check out, hand your bags to bellmen, go to the park, return to the new resort, check in... luggage should be waiting for you.
