hi in 28 days I'll leave to orlando with virgin for my first time,my flight number is vs027.do you know if this careers is usually on time or if they have frequents delayes???and this number flight still exist?because few times ago I was cheking flight timetables at gatwick airport and I found only the vs015??I?m a little bit worryed,I?m scared of not find my flight when I'll leave.

vso27 certainly exists as We were on it 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately it was delayed for about 5 hours due to a technical problem. We were on the plane all ready for take off and had to be unloaded and transfered onto another plane as they couldn't fix it. Although it was a big delay i felt better getting a different plane rather than one that had had a problem

The VS27 still exists just sometimes when it is quieter the consolidate the 2 flights onto one and cancel the VS27 and just operate the VS15. This has been the case for the whole of September.

OOOPPs your right it was the VS15 i was on , it was meant to be vs27 but it got changed. That was really annoying as the flights are later in the day which meant we were going to miss our connecting flight. managed to change the flights and got virgin to pay the difference for our connecting flight!!!

but do you think virgin is a safe airline?I'm so scared of flying!!!!but it often happens that virgin's flights have technical problems???

Virgin are great - we have flown with them several times and never had a problem.

All airlines planes get tech problems from time to time but that is what the ground checks are for and if there is a problem they won't fly the aircraft until it is sorted.

Don't worry everything will be fine :goodvibes

Virgin are a great airline. I expect you have heard it all before, but air travel is the safest way to travel. I know it easy for me to say, but relax, you will be fine. Just enjoy the virgin service, all will be fine.:thumbsup2

OK probably shouldn't admit this but I have an engineer who works for Virgin in the family and trust me they thoroughly test their planes to ensure that they minimise any technical issues! They are serviced regularly and on the few occassions their are technical issues they never let the plane leave with it. They have a very good safety record for an airline (and no I don't get anything for plugging them lol). Sometimes flights have technical problems but these can often be simple things like plumbing not working properly or lighting and planes are grounded for customer safety.

Youll have a great time I'm sure!

That's very reassuring thanks for posting that information.

I fly back on the 9th! I know what you mean. I'm mega excited. It's my boyfriends first trip to Disney so should be fantastic. My parents and sister are over there at the moment and get back on Sunday so looking foreward to seeing them and getting all the guides and pressies they've brought us back lol

hi,what's your plan?which theme parks you'll visit?do you think that flights will be delayed when we'll leave?I'm scared of it!!!

thank's!!!I see that your next trip is near mine,I'll leave october 28!!!
Hello, I usually just lurk but I had to reply as we are on the same flight!
We always fly virgin, with virgin holidays, though I know I can probably find holidays cheaper elsewhere.

I know some might say they are not what they used to be etc. but on the rare occasion things have not gone to plan, they have always put things right.

Relax! I love the anticipation of waiting for a holiday, the chatting, the daydreaming, the planning, to me it is as nearly exciting as the holiday itself!

not much longer now!

hi,what's your plan?which theme parks you'll visit?do you think that flights will be delayed when we'll leave?I'm scared of it!!!

We're doing all the parks pretty much: Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Universal, Islands of Adventure, Seaworld and Aquatica. We're not doing Busch Gardens as the distance puts us off, or Kennedy Space Center. We're also going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween the one night as well which should be good.

I'm hoping for no delays. I keep checking daily to see if there are any and I think there have been a few recently but I don't think its going to be an issue when they get the two planes going again, or at least I hope it isn't.

How about you? What are your plans?

right now,I'trying to decide for my plan,we'll spend 2 weeks in united states, but only one in orlando and I WOULDN'T miss any park!!!!!!I would like to try aquatica me too,I've never been before!!!!to gain a whole day I was thinking that I could make IOA and US both on the same day,but I'm scared I can't handle it!!it depends on the crowds!!!if there is not many crowds I think I can do it!!!otherwise I'll make one day IOA and another day US,maybe combining a water park at one of this days,so I'll be able to do,for example,IOA and wet'n wild!maybe I'll combine also AK with EP.I'll see!!sometimes the best thing is not to have a plan!!!I hope not to have make many grammatical errors!!!!my english is not very perfect!!!:confused3 :confused3 anyway I'm very very excited for my departure!!!last may I've been for the first time at DSRP,I had a lot of fun,it was nice and good, but the magic you can feel in orlando is whole ather thing!!!!

lol your English is a lot better than my Italian so trust me you have nothing to appologise for!
I recon Universal and IOA are definately possible to complete in a day but it does depend on crowds. My parents just got back and they did US in about 6 hours and IOA in 2 but they don't do any of the big rides so I guess it would depend on whether you like rollercoasters. Otherwise I think US and Wet and Wild is a good bet.
We're trying not to plan too much either as I'm sure theyll be loads of stuff we suddenly decide to do but at least if we know where we would like to go it narrows it all down

you're right!!!I have a clear idea of which park I must do,I can say that my plan there is but it's not well defined!!!I love very much roaller coaster and so I reckon to do IOA and US on separate days, then if it will be possible I'll combine them to gain one day more!!!My boyfriend like water park,I hope that weather can allows it!!!the trouble is that I can't decide which disney's water parks choose!!I love both BB and TL,but I have to decide because if I want to do wet'n wild and aquatica it remains to me the chance to do only another water park!!!the truth is I NEED MORE DAYS!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I would like to stay in orlando the whole 2 weeks but my boyfriend want also to go around or make a tour of florida,or careabbean...anyway i'll be content with one week!hey, how old are you and your boyfriend?

Oh by the way TL is closed while we're there! It was meant to close half way through (on the 1st of November) but its closing earlier so we miss it completely so that's one less. I'm choosing to do Aquatica and skip Wet & Wild as it just looks a bit more excited and I love the idea of the animals being there.

I'm 28 he's 30 (well actually he's 31 the day after we arrive). How about you two? Have you made any plans for your second week yet? There are some lovely places to see in Florida and the caribbean
