VRBO Standard Email Form Question

I've been looking at all the places recommended on here for our stay in November. I just recently was on VRBO and wanted more info. on a home in Villas at Somerset. However, there was a "click here to send email" at the bottom, and it required my email address (which was okay), AND a telephone number.

I like keeping control of my information, and didn't like the idea of sending out a form like that. It just seemed like more people than the owner I was approaching were going to get my info. Usually on VRBO you get a website, or personal email address to inquire further.

Have any of you filled out this form? And if so, any problems with spam afterwards?

Thanks.

I believe the required information is only sent to the owner and maybe to the VRBO site administrators. The number is in case the owner needs to contact you directly. I've never had any problems with the VRBO site. :thumbsup2

If you are sending it to a specific home, just the owner will get the details. But if ypu click the option-of send all owners then obviously all owners will get.
But on most advertising sites, the owners have to agree not to pass on client details pr become spammers.

Have a great holiday,
Lynn

I never fill in my telephone number on those inquiry forms. There is no reason for that information since I wish to use email for correspondence. Sometimes I'll fill in that line with "no phone calls please"
