We sail on the Alaska Aug. 17th cruise and were thinking about renewing our vows. Does anyone know if it is too late to arrange for it? I'm trying to get a hold of someone at the phone number they list, but I've been holding for 15 minutes and suspect they are closed Sundays... going to keep holding since we are three weeks from cruising. :)

They are closed on the weekends. They could probably pull it together in 3 weeks of all there are still venues available. Also, it is about $3000 for this service. We were going to do it on a previous cruise but decided to do our upcoming Wonder cruise instead.

Thank you. I got a hold of them but they said because I booked through a TA, we have to route this through the TA. So, I emailed her this AM and hopefully will get a response later today. Its expensive, but given what a fiasco our original wedding was 15 years ago, it would be nice to do a simple, drama free vow renewal. Particularly given my DH almost died in August. It'll be kind of a nice way to hit the reset button.

That's doesn't sound right, since the wedding and the cruise are separate entities for lack of a better term. They might be billed together. Not to mention that they have to deal with you for the cake, flowers etc. Ill have to ask my wife, but I think we were booked thru DU for our DCL wedding in 2010 and never had an issue. We dealt directly with the shoreside wedding rep.

Your travel agent has to add the package to the booking. Once it's added then you will deal directly with Fairytale Weddings for all of the planning.

The problem is that there is a limited number of slots onboard. Youd have to talk to WDWFTW to see if the spot is even available.

Come over to the wedding boards as well. You should find lots of cruise specific info there!

Actually, the travel agent will have to call DCL to see if there are slots available. The DCL agents have this information.

No dice for us. They are all booked for our cruise date. It was a long shot anyway given how close we are to cruising. :)
