Does anyone know how they actually handle swim goggles in the parks? I normally wear glasses or contacts, and there are a couple slides I am worried about my contacts getting washed out on.

I think you can wear them on most rides except the super tall speed slide.

Are you aware of corrective goggles? My sons have them. TYR makes them and they are about $20 each. They are good if you just have nearsightedness.

I have a couple pair of those Tyr goggles, plus the AquaSphere Eagles, and a couple pair of noncorrected. Can't see perfectly through any due to astigmatism. The Eagles are the most comfortable to me, but don't have sunglass type or photochromatic lenses. Wearing goggles over contacts is an imperfect solution, but so far the only one I have, short of laser surgery or buying a $300 pair of corrective goggles through an optometrist.

Have you considered a cheap pair of Rx sunglasses through Zenni or similar? I wear sunglasses at every water park (prone to migraines triggered by bright lights) and I can keep them on for every ride, usually. This might be a better option than wearing your normal expensive Rx glasses and worrying about them. When you're going down a speed slide, there's nothing to see anyway, and that is the only kind of slide they will make you remove them.

My son wore goggles on all of the slides that he rode. He did not do the vertical trap door one that is a straight drop. I was able to wear my prescription sunglasses on all the slides I wanted to do.

I'm not sure I would either. I plan to wear contacts into the park, and because all kinds of things can go wrong there, I prefer to play it safe. Also plan to go kayaking and surfing on this trip so makes sense to find goggles that fit well.
