Visiting DW resorts?

Can anyone tell me if you can visit Disney World Resorts to see the holiday lights, if you are staying off site? Thank you.

absolutely, you can visit them. The monorail ones are the hardest, but if your at the MK just go over on the monorail and do all three.

All the others just drive over and stop at the front gate and talk with the guard, it is up to them if your allowed to visit but if you talk to the guard and just tell them your checking out the resort for maybe a future visit / or the decorations they should give you a pass for 1 to 3 hours for parking. Depends on crowds, parking, and any security issues at the time.

Anyone can visit the resorts. You may not be allowed to park there if you are not there to stay or eat. Also, you are not allowed to use the pools

The epcot resorts are easier to see IMO than most. Park at BW or the putt putt golf, and a walk, or boat will take you all around. AK seems a bit harder to get into. For the MK resorts park at FW, and use the boat. Epcot resorts have some of the best decorations.

Yes, you can visit the resorts. Sometimes they ask for a photo ID, but you're welcome there.

Why not plan a meal at one of the great resort restaurants? That will make it even more fun!
