That's ridiculous!

I can't wait until I've memorized all of the birds (which is going to take a while, because I don't spend much time looking at the pictures). I'm going to rock at this game then. Right now, I've played three times and my high score is 124

I just hate that sometimes the Hummer goes THROUGH the gas cans instead of picking them up

Just a tip for you, try to run over the gas can with the front of your hummer.
Most of the times the side will not pick it up, except for the last gas can on
the 4th level I think.

Plus 1 gas can gets you 20 gas, while a log or rock or something makes
you lose only 10, so if there is only 1 obstacle in your way for a gas can
run it over and get the gas can too, at least you'll gain 10 fuel.

When I ended the game that gave me 124k, I had about 700 fuel.

I thought you said there were only 50 levels.

The home page says there are 50 levels and you can get 25,000 credits.

Well I got 124,000 credits and got through 139 levels

The game is counting each new room as a level, while whoever put it on the home page was probably thinking of a level as one time through the course.

Now if only there was something to buy with those credits . . .

Aren't you curious as to why you have earned so many credits in such a short time? I'm thinking about how much things will cost, once you're able to shop. 50,000 credits for a pink couch? How will this affect the economy of the game? Just wonderin'...

Game is working now. Here's a brief overview:

Use the arrow keys to drive your Hummer. Use the mouse to click on the birds in the game.

Get 20 gas credits everytime you drive over a gas can. Gas gets used as you are driving. Lose gas by running over a rock or log.

In the Level 1, click on a bird. One choice for the species of bird. Click on the one choice and you get points.

In Level 2, two choices come up. You get points if you choose the correct species pictured. If you choose wrong, the background of picture turns red.

In Level 3, there are three choices. Keeps increasing as you go up in levels.

The longer you take to pick the right species, the fewer birds you can click on in a level and the less you can see where you're driving so you'll end up losing gas by hitting obstacles.

I like it so far. Any bird enthusiasts are going to do really well. This is not just a drive through and click like Jungle Cruise. You also have to recognize the species and click on the correct choice. I believe you have to wait for the bird to stop flying across the room and land before you can click on it. I am assuming the difficulty of this game will depend on how many species are in their database.

FANTASTIC description of the game Horse I tried playing it on my laptop, but as I said in my email, the laptop just could not handle it Guess I will have to wait till I get out of the hospital and try it at home

From reading the last 3 - 4 pages of posts. It seems like you are matching the different colored birds up to move on to the next level. My question is... how do you match the birds up when they ALL appear black I know I am trying to play this while in the hospital, using dial-up, and on an OLD laptop. However, something on VFK has to work right for me

Also, if *ANYONE* has the phone number for VFK, can you please post it for me. I know people have told me to get over the fact that I still do not have my title, but it really bothers me that I can not even email them and ask about getting my title.

I have already emailed them once, quite awhile ago, regarding problems with logging in and NEVER heard back from them, so I see VFK's "Contact Us" NOT EQUAL TO, BUT WORSE THAN VMK'S "Contact Us!!!"

Ok, once you click on the black bird a box pops up and it should show you a picture, looks like it came from the auubon society books and below that picture is the multiply choice of what the bird might be. That is where you see the colors of the birds and such. The first room is basically here we will show you what the bird looks like and you just click on the only choice given because that is the correct answer. Kind of "Free Points", as you move from that room, you get more birds to try to identify and more choices.

I do not have a picture, but maybe someone does.

I've signed up for the Beta list, but highly doubt I'll get a spot as an actual tester. When is VFK supposed to open to the public? Also, for those of you who have played, what is the game like? Is it better/ worse than VMK? And are the items and historical lands any good? Thanks!

VFK officially opens June 26, 2008. I think it is a really good game for such
little time. As of now, it's not good as VMK, they are still adding in stuff but
VFK will be 50 times better than it is now in its full fledged form.

Ok Thanks so much! I started reading some of the previous posts and I can see how frustrating the first few days were. But I agree, VFK will definitely improve. Looking forward to the 26th!!

That's a possibility. But what I think will happen is they won't be ready
to be open, but they'll open to the public anyway. You know how that's
going to turn out.

They have tons of stuff left to do, especially to finally open those shops! And
the next mini game they have scheduled is the Fourth of July Game, which
is supposed to open July 4th, after beta is over. So only 1 mini game will
be available for the first days of public release?

Also staff said the only beta things we will get is the shirt and beta day
1 badge. No beta furniture, pins, art, fx, credits, clothing, or anything other
than that.

Not only could you not use them yet anyways, you can play the game again and get credits back
