i can't get mine to steer. i can click the birds but i go in a straight line the whole time. but on the bright side, i dont run out of gas even without picking up gas

If you are using Gadget, the arrow keys won't work. Try entering via the home page and see if it'll work for you that way.

I think no matter what VFK does it is either too disney or not enough

Why not use a jeep maybe because the sarfari at WDW Animal kingdom does.
Could not use a more environmentally sound water raft because again people would cry see copying Disney.

I could go on.

When I saw the game my first response was not about gee why are we using these hummers. In fact I do not know my car names very well. And until I read the comments here would never have thought it. Like many people would not think that way.

This game is nothing like jungle cruise it is a little stressful and I would rather them get rid of the logs for the first couple of rounds. That way I can learn my birds.

I just feel bad for VFK no matter what they do it is not good enough.

I tried the game last night and it freaked me out a bit. It was hard enough dodging logs, but the black shadows of all the birds flying around totally creeped me out. And I don't generally have a fear of birds.

Seriously? It's the same game with different sprites. The only significant difference is that you have to identify the animals rather than take pictures of them. Everything about VFK looks like they are trying to replicate VMK but be just different enough to avoid copyright problems.

That's fine, it's what we all want right? I wasn't trying to be critical. It's just that the Jungle Cruise was not my favorite mini-game. Pirates are historical, let's copy that one next.

birds all my life.. 2 days ago I didn't know any bird names and today I am
full of knowledge rofl.

28, I think. I've gotten to level 31 before but I didn't get as much score.

I already have 25k on VFK.

That made me LOL too. It's been that way since it released. I dunno when it released, either this morning or last night.

I am sorry to disagree with you it is different. It takes a lot more coordination I could play jungle cruise fairly well. But not this game. Not only do you have to steer and find the birds you have to read very fast. To me this is totally more difficult than memorizing which animal comes next on the jungle cruise.

And if you do not click the birds in the same order you can never memorize with out reading or seeing the bird.

Here it takes a lot more fine motor skills which I do not have to click the tiny circle for the answer. Good gamers will find this game easy. The rest of us not so sure.

Lets compare

Jungle Cruise

Steer boat avoid obstacles even being able to stop (Well kinda stay in one spot). Very Few bostacles if you know where to stop.

Click on Animal at the right time get the best points.

If you miss an animal three times does not matter just enough gas counts. (and you get a weaker score)

Unless on High Score you only got you only got 20 credits no matter how much you improved.

VFK Game

Steer Hummer over around many obstacles.

Click on tiny birds no big elephants hippos or alligators. If not fast enough they fly away.

Then read which it could be while you vehical is still moving. And then click in tiny circle the right answer. If three time wrong you start over

No way to stop yes slow down, and no backwards that I have found could be wrong there.

Get credits based on score so if you improve you get more points.

Sounds like a different game to me. In fact I would say VFK is much harder and more stressful for the average player.

PS I really think good fireworks Players will ace this game as it kind has the same fast accurate skills needed. And Sharkmeal seems to have been in the top group in that too.

How come the obstacles get easier farther up If I could only get to level 4

You just got me very interested in this game. I think I'm going to give it a shot tonight.

I really do not like VFK, I have found a new place to play in Smallworlds. I was telling my daughter I wanted her to play SmallWorlds with me, but not until they fix the limitations on the chat.

Anyhow, I logged into VFK today to see what the hoopla about the new game *cough - jungle cruise - cough* was all about and the pictures below are what I found inthe rooms. My daughter says, "Mom, Smallworlds looks like VFK." I said to her, "baby, this is VFK." She said, "Oh, I thought since the ppl were so small this was Smallworlds.

They just get smaller and smaller.

I have seen a lot of whining from people saying that the staff boot them from a room. I went into several rooms were players were blocking the doors and asked the staff members (Dragon, Harmony & I forget the other one) if they could boot the person blocking the entrance/exit ways and all 3 said they could not as they have not been provided that ability.

I have learned on my own that if you are stuck somewhere long enough, you are automatically booted back to your house.
