Am I the only donut who knew NOTHING about this club? How did I miss it? I think I saw a reference to it here so I started to investigate. Thanks!!!!

I just joined and got 8672 miles credited from my flight in May and I am going to Orlando in September too so I will get more then!!!

Is the club new?

Has anyone got free flights using their miles?

Yes, Mandy. Funnily enough we just booked free Premium Economy flights for our trip next April/May (flying in to Washington and out from Orlando). Dh got off the phone about half an hour ago!

We've also used miles on many occasions to book discounted Miles Plus Money fares.

Hi

If you join the Virgin flyer club can you get back flights you have taken? DH rang about this a few weeks ago (to join) but was told he could claim back miles.

We booked 2 premium economy flights to Orlando in February (just paid for taxes) It felt so good:p

Hi,
We just booked 2 Upper Class flights to LA ( 80,000 miles each ) We also have Amex and Hilton Hhonnors cards which earn Miles too. If your a wine drinker you can also get miles with Virgin Wine.
And of course there's the Virgin credit card too.

The answer is yes but only on flights taken upto 6 months ago.

Could someone please tell me how you actually get your points added to your account? I've got one of the red plastic cards- do you hand this over when checking in and they swipe it or something to add your points? Up to now I've always had my points added when I'm home which is a bit of a pain filling in the forms. Thanks!

HAs anyone any idea how many airmiles I would require for 2 adult PE tickets to Orlando?

We seem to have accumulated points from flights and of course the spend on our Virgin credit card but havent got round to doing anything about spending them.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

AlexE

I try to add my FF number when I'm actually buying the flights...but I always hand over the card at check-in both ways just to be sure and have never had a problem - well, with Virgin at any rate. BA still managed to mess it up the last time I flew with them and only credited the return flight

If you book your reward flights on line at the moment you get them for 1000 miles less for return in econ, 1500 less for PE.
