Villians Sinister Soirée

So how will the event go, in regards to time frame, where and when to get your tickets and then check in, where to be when, etc? It seems to be alot of moving around. Can anyone go over that with me? Our ressie only says CRT at 9:55pm.

Does anyone know what the actual legal capacity is for CRT? I wonder if it's the same number as a typical dinner/breakfast seating or if the restaurant can actually fit more people in than they typically seat per meal?

It will only be there if you have purchased the ticket and linked it in MDE using the confirmation number the CM gave you on the booking call - you can't book it online/MDE etc.
I didn't link and it's in my MDE. The CM told me it would be there automatically.

I believe someone mentioned 200 earlier in the thread. Not sure of the accuracy, though.

Somehow I don't think Disney would arrange seating in a popular restaurant such that they didn't meet capacity and maximize potential revenue every day. ;)

Youll be sitting on each others laps, itll be hot, sweaty, smell of costume make-up in the air. But i hope everyone goes so the standby lines elsewhere are shorter!

Sorry. Not sure you'll notice only 200-400ish people not in the standby lines. :(

I've always heard capacity was 200-250. And you are absolutely right. No way they aren't maximizing that every single moment of every single day already.

I just called the club number and was booked right away. I do have a few questions though...

- We are going Friday, October 3rd, and on the Disney website it says seating at 10:15pm only, but the CM offered me 9:55 or 11 something. I took the 9:55. Did they add a second seating to all nights? For the record, it automatically linked in MDE as CRT, but says 10pm.

- The Disney website mentioned getting a wristband to be allowed access to the parade/firework area and into CRT. Does that mean we need 2 wristbands for the night!? (1 for MNSSHP and 1 for Villain's Soiree?) Can we check in and get both at the same time?

I'm excited! :cool1:

I also wanted to add that a big part of what rubs me the wrong way with this is, again, how it was announced/handled by Disney. MNSSHP tx have been on sale since May 5th. People have been buying tickets since then based on the descriptions of the events that Disney put forth. Disney has now made a fairly significant change to the evening's events - 3.5 months after people started buying tickets for it. Tickets which are non-refundable.

I think it's poor form to make a significant change like this for a non-refundable event well after tickets went on sale.

this^ :worship:. The trend the suits/powers that be ~ have taken over the last 2 years has been beyond business, its insulting. We are fitting a long weekend trip in when we go to visit our DD and it is the first time I regret buying tickets in advance. However, WDW led us to the rat trap perfectly with the MDE so folks activate their tix 60 days out etc. I didn't read every post am I am sure it was said but I would spend my $99 at HHN (well, less actually) I know crowds are wicked big there too...but just seems less Snively Whiplash to me.

Sorry to double post this but now more people have booked - I was hoping if they can tell me if they are having the same issue?

I booked the 11:45pm seating but on MDE it is showing up as arrive at 10pm - is anybody else having this issue? Not sure whether to call back and just check my time is right. Wanted the later one as we get the party and then go into CRT!

We really wanted the later one so I will be pretty annoyed if I call back and the CM has booked me onto the wrong one as the later one may be sold out now - I'm in the UK and cannot call until at least 2pm EST today to check....

I also booked for 11:45 and it says 11:30.. :confused3

Just wondered what people's thoughts were on why the first few party nights having 2 seatings but not the rest?

Do you think they are testing to see if 2 consecutive sessions runs smoothly and if it does will add additional seatings to the other party nights?

It just seems odd to me that you would have 2 seatings on September 1st but only one on October 31st

I think that is very likely what they are doing. They want to see how it sells and how well it works before adding 2nd parties. My understanding is that the reserved area is for the early parade no matter which seating you are doing. We have it tentatively booked and I'm keeping a close eye on it. I'm okay with one restaurant seating of people being in the reserved parade area, but two seatings worth seems like it might get too crowded in that area.

I just booked for 10/3 and the CM gave me 2 options -- 9:55 or 11 something. I took the 9:55, but it's showing up in MDE as 10pm. Wondering if I'm actually booked for 10:15 and the CM didn't know what they were talking about, or if they did add 2 seatings to this night...... :confused3 I just emailed IPO and will hopefully have an answer soon!

Does anyone else think it is really sad how much so many here inherently questipm.what they are told by CMs? I used to feel like I got accurate information from CMs. Now. 9 times out of 10, I feel like I.know.more than the person on the phone.
