Hi Fellow Diser's! We will be traveling with my mom in December and want to take in the CP at Epcot. She will be in a wheelchair and this will be my first trip to Disney with her. If you've been in the past can you please share with me if we will be able to sit with her and how far advance we need to be at the area to have a good viewing area.

Thanks for your insight!:earseek:

There are 2 wheelchair areas at CP. One is in the back and one in the middle. There is space for one person to accompany and sit beside her. If she can walk a bit then she has the option to transfer to a regular bench seat and then can sit anywhere if she is on a Candlelight Dinner Package. Regular seating is behind that area. Wheelchairs go through the regular line or the package line and there is no special line for wheelchairs.

the lines form early for seating for the candlelight procession. So be aware of the time it starts and allow for waiting in line. It is truly inspirational. to 'talking with hands", the sign language intepreting is SO beautiful isn't it?

Beautiful yes, but to me it is so skilled and clear. And knowing the preparation it takes to take one song from English to American Sign Language and make it understandable I am truely in awe of the work that is done to make the interpreting at Candlelight Processional not only clear to those who are deaf and hard of hearing and use sign language but also work of art. It is not a matter of changing a word to a sign word for word but making it clear and conceptually accurate as well. I only hope one day I will be as skilled as those who are interpreting Candlelight Processional.
