Hey! Anyone got any advice on videography? Would you definately have a videographer? Or is it something that you think isn't a must have? We aren't sure what to do, but I have seen some amazing wedding videos lately!! Who would you all recommend to use? Thanks again for your great advice! xx :)

My daughter had a Disney wedding almost 2 years ago. I highly recommend having a Video done. Besides your pictures the video is something that you can relive the whole day over again and again. Someday you might regret not doing one and at least if you have one you will always have it. As the years pass by and many of your family and friends pass away, you will at least have them live again whenever you watch it. I wish they had done videos back when I got married I would so have loved to see it and relive the day again. The video and your pictures will be the only thing you have left of your special day. She used Disney video and photography and they did a wonderful job!!!

I orginally didn't think I cared about videography at all....but the more I started to think about it, it became an important part of the process...I really wanted to be able to share a video at my at home reception....I checked out STVS and Stan has been great - he is reasonably priced, and I loved the sample videos he sent me. My wedding isn't till September but I'll let you know how it goes!

I chose to go with videography over the MK photoshoot because I felt it was more worth the money. We are using STVS and he's got very reasonable prices and he shoots for the entire day. He's also got a three hour package that's about $525. I thought it would be more important to have a video of the day rather than photos of us in the MK a couple days after the wedding. Of course if I had an endless supply of cash I'd do both ;)

I'm def. glad we had a videographer. We chose STVS and even tho' we don't have our DVD yet, I'm already happy because of the sneak peek we had of our video during our reception (yes, this is something STVS includes!). So, yes, I'd def. recommend STVS. Here is our sneak peek (make sure ur sound is on ;)): http://www.stvsvideo.com/sneakpeeks.html We're the "Elizabeth & Michael (Yacht Club) HD" one. :) HTH! (O, and we also added on the webcam option so our family members and friends who couldn't make it, including friends in ENGLAND!, could watch...we even got to do a shoutout between the end of the ceremony and pictures :).)

that video was amazing! ive never thought about having a videographer before, but after seeing that I am definitely thinking about it!:lovestruc

Hi! We also went back and forth about videography. Eventually we decided to go with A Moment to Remember. We had their bronze package (i think). It was $899 for 8 hours and 2 dvds. Joe was great to work with planning wise, quick to respond to emails and calls, very thorough. James was our videographer the day of and he was great too! We barely noticed he was there and he got a lot of great footage! We had our dvd (edited and everything) about 2 weeks after the wedding. We watched it right away and fell in love with it! I would DEFINITELY recommend them! It really is great to be able to watch your day over and over. I've already watched our video a couple of times. I :lovestruc it!
