VGT with Restrictions - Stateroom Assignment

I currently have a VGT Guaranteed with Restrictions. When I currently look for available Verandah staterooms, it is showing none. What should expect from this?

You will be assigned a room on the ship. It will be AT LEAST a Verandah room. It could be a higher category, but will not be a lower one.

I have been assigned verandah staterooms that did not show on dcl’s website days before the cruise. I figured they held some back for VGT assignment.

You cannot see full availability on the website. You will be given a verandah room- either a standard deluxe, navigator, or a family verandah

My MIL booked a verandah gty on a ship that didn’t show any standard balcony staterooms available, however handicap staterooms were available…she was assigned a very nice (but loud in the AM when docking) handicap cabin.

We ended up in an HA stateroom the last time we booked a *GT rate. The extra space was nice, but DH managed to soak the entire bathroom anytime he showered. (The two kids and I managed just fine with the shower.)
