We loved VGF & are considering purchasing points. Are there any current incentives associated with a VGF direct purchase?

Sigh...wishful thinking.
I've been reading posts about VGF & read that it's the smallest DVC at WDW. Love to hear any thoughts about direct purchase (pros & cons?). Certainly, the cost per point would be a con but, we really loved it & don't know if we would be able to reserve it at 7 months out once it's sold out. Thanks for any advice.
Nope, and there haven't been any since sales began.
According to multiple sources there are not going to be any for awhile.. At least 6 mo..
It's selling to well...
Some info I've look at says they may not do anything until the Polynesian opens..
As the suspected sales may then start to lag at the GF.

Just signing direct as a new member at VGF. Cost was $155/pt buy in, we purchased 125 points and they "threw in" the 2013 points as well (Sep UY.) We'll have 250 points to use starting immediately, knowing we'll have to bank the 2013 points by 8/15 of this year if we don't book something.
Can someone answer this for me? Honestly, why does it matter where you buy in at, other than the increased booking window? Aren't points, regardless of home property, able to be used at any available property? TIA for your responses as I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole process.

Thanks for the respones! If I am reading this correctly, the 1st set of 125 points I get for buying now, (2013UY) I have to bank by 4/30/14 or they won't be available for the UY 2014 (Sept calendar 14 - Aug calendar 15 in my case.) When we were with the DVC rep, he specifically told me to write down, "Must bank prior years points by 8/15 each year." He also told me to write down, "Must use by 8/30/15 for 2013 point." Now, I'm assuming that date is based off me banking the 2013 points.
How is it them, that they deposited another 125 points into my account prior to the 2014 UY? Wouldn't those be deposited 9/1/14? If that's the case, will there be no deposit for me on 9/1 of another 125 points?
Thank you for being patient with me while I try to digest all this. I'm beginning to forget what thread I read what on digging though all this stuff in here!
Not sure what the guide meant by 8/15 each year. You have until the last day of April to bank."Must bank prior years points by 8/15 each year." He also told me to write down,
