VGF monorail trans

I know that the new VGF resort is on the monorail but it is my assumption that there is not a new station on the resort monorail loop for VGf but rather guests have to use the existing GF station...correct ??

If my assumption is correct, then is there a walk way over to the GF monorail stop at the second level or would one have to walk over on the ground and then walk up the stairs to the GF monorail station ?

Also, woudl it be closer (or faster) for guests of VGF to use the Poly monorail stop ?

there is no station at VGF so yes you need to walk to the GF.

there are elevators.

GF monorail statiion is closer to VGF than the Polyn monorail is by far.

there is no bridge like at BLT to CR.

Would it be possible to add another entrance to the monorail station ( to the end of the platform I guess) so people don't have to go all the way around into the lobby, up the stairs and then back out to the station platform?

The VGF building is about the same distance from the main building as some of the other GF buildings. It is surrounded by the beach pool, the seven seas lagoon, the wedding pavilion and the monorail and health spa. I was told you will be able to see Cinderella's horse drawn carriage that picks up the bride and groom at the weddings.

Sure it possible but I don't see Disney spending any money to make a shorter walk to the monorail for DVC owners/guests.

The average distance that someone walks at WDW is 6 miles, a few hundred feet more is no big deal.

The fastest way to walk there from VGF is to walk through the beach pool area and right into the side door of the main GF building and up the stairs or elevator to second floor. It's a shorter distance than from most of the rooms at BLT to the CR monorail station.

And it is definitely shorter than going to the Poly.

There is an entrance to the building on the front, side and back. I love going into the building to get to the monorail. It's so pretty in there.

Yes. It is possible, maybe at a cost of extra $10 per point. I bet most members would not want to spend more. $150 is pretty high already.
