I am sure it is close, but it may not be as close as guides would like you to think. Helps the immediate sale.

DVD's sell out out means that they stop pushing the resort and start pushing the next. It doesn't mean that points aren't available.

I'm more than willing to believe Disney will announce that VGF is sold out before the end of the month.

Info based on conversation with guide who said he was looking at the points in real time on his computer, along with checking deeds at Orange County Comptrollers office. March looks like another big sales month for VGF with over 925 deeds being sold and north of 120,000 points. By comparison it looks like VGF will out pace PVB by over 300 deeds and 40,000 points. I would be surprised if DVC didn't declare VGF sold out by mid month at the latest. We will see.

Finalized our contract with VGF yesterday. Called to discuss a couple of things (website login, etc) today and was "told" that VGF is officially SOLD OUT (again, debatable what that means) as of today...

All it means is that DVD guides will be pushing the poly and not VGF. VGF will always have points for sale, DVD will obtain more VGF points through ROFR and foreclosings.

And to be honest they have more or less been doing that since Poly opened. We had a real hard time with our VGF add on getting our guides head away from the Poly to sell me VGF

High VGF resale prices don't give them much incentive to use ROFR. DVD should be raising the VGF price very soon (if they have not already done so).

I wonder if maybe they are sold out depending on the size of the contract? It's possible that they would not be able to sell a 200 point Dec UY, but could sell two 25 point Dec UY contracts.

That would make a lot of sense. What the "guide" told me was that we would not be able to get our 150pt contract today, so good thing we did the other day, as they were "sold out" of that many points...So yes, I bet they could do smaller "add-ons" but probably no new contracts...
