VGC waitlist...what are the chances?

Hi guys!
We have had our DVC at the Grand Californian for 6 years and this is the first time we haven't been able to plan in time to get our reservation. We are hoping to go over Thanksgiving. I know it's a long shot but I was just curious about it. Is there any way to know one's position on the waitlist?

The only time I waitlisted VGC was for a Friday night addition to an existing reservation (first Halloween party). I waitlisted in late June for late September and it never came through. We moved to PPH on cash.

To be honest, I don't think so hot..But you never know..

What size room? I know that there aren't that many studios, so if you have something larger than maybe that might increase your chances.

Just an fyi though, we were able to snag a 6 niter in 2014 ove Presidents week, so you never know..This was a studio on the 6th floor overlooking DCA too....Here's some your way for luck...
