Veteran's Day

Hello all. I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on the crowds during Veteran's Day weekend in November. My husband and I are teachers and this may be an option for us in the future, to beat the June heat. What about Columbus Day in October?

I haven't toured WDW during either of those times so I'll just bump this back to page one so that some of our veterans can offer advice.

Veteran's Day happens to be my DS's birthday and we were there at that time last year. The only park that seemed crowded was MK. As for the weekend, you are looking at the last weekend for F&W over in Epcot and Super Soap Weekend is at MGM. May increase crowds in those parks. A good rule of thumb is to avoid MK on Saturday also since you tend to get a lot of locals. All that being said, the crowds won't be as bad as during peak times.

Any other opinions? We went in June this year and with FP the lines were very manageable, I'd just like to avoid the heat!
