Very Picky Child

Well, she won't eat mac & cheese, hot dogs, grilled cheese, burgers, chicken nuggets, pasta, peanut butter... What she does eat is cheese pizza, french fries and lipton chicken noodle soup. lol I'm figuring most places will at least have pizza or fries.

I looked at the Ohana menu and I am definitly making an ADR there! It looks soooo good! I don't care if she won't like it. LOL Actually I think she might like the lo mein noodles.
How old is she? My DD is picky now (she's a "carbitarian" :rotfl:) but when she was a pre-schooler she was even pickier. We would bring PB&J's for her in a disposable Glad/Ziplock container to the parks with us. We would even feed her at the TS restaurants if there was nothing on the menu that she would eat although we would always purchase a beverage for her. I see the girl won't eat PB&J's, but maybe there is something else she will eat that can be carried in a container. Since you're just thinking about making ADR's her parents might have enough time to get her to expand her acceptable foods a little bit. For instance, my DD ate cream cheese and jelly for a while when she wanted to eat with her PB allergic friend at school.

I have a very picky son who doesn't like meat, and Ohana works well for us. I have heard stories that people have been upset because their children did not really eat and the server never offered other kid's choices. This is something they will do, but you have to ask for it. I would suggest you tell your server that you would like to order an alternative kids meal as soon as they come to the table, if you wait to see if she likes the food you may wait a long time for her order. We always order my son a grilled cheese and fries and he eats the salad. Le Cellier, Tutto Italia are good choices because they both offer pizza.

Wow, I'm picky, but not THAT bad. 50's PT has chicken noodle soup I know. Hopefully most places have fries or pizza for you.

I can totally sympathize! Luckily for us, my son will eat a couple more things that that - I'm sure it must make you crazy! I found restaurants to be pretty darn accommodating, though. Good luck!

Oh, and there's something about Disney or new places - my son willingly and happily ate scrambled eggs for the first time at Disney, then stopped eating them when we got home, then remembered he liked them the next time we were at Tusker House. And he started liking bacon there, too. So you never know...

:rotfl2: I love it - my sister is a carbitarian, too. I'm a recovered carbitarian. In fact, when we were at Disney with my sister in November, I ordered something with spinach and she just looked at me and said "I don't even know who you are anymore." :rotfl:

I'm glad that people recover ;). She's only 10 and she does eat some non-stachy veggies: summer squash, peppers & green beans. I think I will :faint: the day she eats spinach!

Another one with a pickyish eater - she is the Atkins kid just wants meat and salad/fruit. Does some desserts but not most, only drinks water, hates milk or cheese or tomato or french fries and would never touch a sauce/gravy/soup.

We always do about 50% buffets, places like Boma where we can get something different and she can eat garbage (sorry kids food)!

The other 50% we make sure she has a large lunch while the rest of us just snack between breakfast and dinner and then let her eat what she will and go without if not.

in DHS Hollywood and Vine is a buffet

What about Mama Melrose?

Well, I didn't eat ANY green vegetables until I was 30! (I'm 39 now) And spinach only joined the party last year...it can happen! Now I eat all kinds of stuff (but NOT salad - lettuce is gross ;)).
