It’s here. Our first official Disney Parks mobile application is now available and you’re invited to check it out.

Trying Mobile Magic is simple. Verizon Wireless customers can download the application for $9.99 for 180 days. Just go to the Media Center to “Browse & Download,” then “Get New Applications.” You’ll then find Mobile Magic in the “Travel & Navigation” folder. The app can also be found by texting Magic to 2777 later today.

You should know that there’s a 24-hour free trial available for a limited time if you’d like to test it out. In either case, download and message charges may apply. Airtime or megabyte data charges may also apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. You can access the Disney Parks mobile web site by going to either m.disneyland.com or m.disneyworld.com on your mobile web browser.

The application is ready to use but the team will be fine tuning it until January. Mobile Magic is bringing FASTPASS return times, attraction wait times for the park you are in, extensive information on character locations and more for Walt Disney World and Disneyland theme parks to your Verizon Wireless phone. And, even if you are not a Verizon Wireless subscriber, you can still use your mobile phone to access select park information and on the Disney Parks Mobile web sites.

The list of Verizon Wireless phones that Mobile Magic will be available on is expected to grow to include “touch” handsets and smartphones in the upcoming weeks.

Of course, there are some official details you should know about: The downloadable Mobile Magic application for Verizon Wireless subscribers is available for purchase. Message and data rates also may apply. Coverage not available everywhere. Availability subject to handset limitations. If you’re under 18, get your parent’s permission first. You are not going to believe this, but I must have a guardian angel named Cris.

This mini-trip into NYC this weekend includes concerts by one of my fav artists, Rob Thomas (which Cris knew about ). I belong to his fan club and they have give-aways.

Well, I just was picked to have a Meet & Greet with him tomorrow before the show! Totally put a small on my face, I can tell you that!

However, I did ask for it to be moved to another night, since tomorrow is Cris' funeral and I highly doubt I would be in a head space where I can meet him. I can see Cris' hand in this, so I would not feel so sad that day. The fan club did honor my request.

I considered not going to the show at all, but I decided to go, hang with friends and enjoy my City.

Shamus has the ipod touch, I've got some apps on there, but that isn't very helpful since the touch can only pick-up on wifi, which is non-existent in the world! COME ON VERIZON!!!

Popping in to say that I survived the wake and funeral is tomorrow. Her family had many wonderful pictures of her life (she always had a camera) and plenty of Disney collectables around from little Mickey dolls to throws they collected over the years. It was lovely as far as wakes go.

Her family requested to wear something Disney-ish, so I'm thinking either my D23 mad hatter pin or Vinylmation princess pin.

Her son pulled me aside and gave me an envelope. Cris wrote me a letter! Can you imagine? She didn't feel well, she's worried about all kinds of things, yet she takes the time to write me a letter. I don't know when I'll be able to open it.

I am a better person for knowing Cristina. I will make sure I have a great time in Disney in Cristina's memory.

I am trying to pack and head to the trains into NYC. Since I was able to change around the meet & greet, I don't have to super rush. As I suspctd I would be, I'm moving a little slower since I'm a little exhausted, have a headache and my eyes hurt a little after crying at the funeral.

Later tonight, I will meet up with friends and have a good time at the Rob Thomas concert.

I really enjoyed the pics of a Christmas Carl train tour and the mini TR to go with it. YOu have been a busy busy girl, I guess that really makes the time fly.

I am so sorry to hear about cris, I was cheering for her and had her in my prayers, I guess God needed her in heaven now to continue on her work, she sounded like such a great lady, It's nice how her life and love for Disney was celebrated at her wake and funeral, what a blessing.

I went to NYC over last weekend for some friends, fun & a guy called Rob Thomas.

Unfortunately, the morning was very sad due to Cris funeral, but I know she was dancing away with me.

However, I got myself together, finished packing (albeit a bit later than I thought) and headed out to my train.

I think I got in to NYC around 4pm-ish, met my friend Mary and checked into Hampton Inn. The front desk guys were great, check-in was swift and we had a corner room. Nice place, small room, but typical for NYC. Space matters. LOL!

We rested for a bit and got ready to tackle the subway to get to the Beacon Theatre. We actually get our MetroCard, take the correct subway and make it to the Beacon in record time! LOL!!!

Our friends are already inside listening to the first opening band, Carolina Liar, which they like but I'm not really feeling them. The Beacon is a beautiful place! So I take some pics:
