I gotta know who told you that there was going to be a Disney store opening in Times Square?! NOT true. Rumors fly but NOTHING is set in stone, believe me there would be people holding each other down to get transfers. Looks like a great weekend! I def hope we can check out the Tim Burton Exhibit together! Text me your plans when you get a chance so I can get days off work if I need 'em.

Mary & I are heading back into the City on Thanksgiving weekend for the MoMA exhibit with Tim (Mary got his sig yesterday!), then heading over for the screening of Princess & the Frog. It'll be a packed day! And the Disney Store, of course.

NYC is koolness.

I am in the bright coral shirt with ruffles , I see myself in the choir scene mostly, all the way to the right of the screen. People have told me they have seen me in other shots, but I haven't caught it. I think there must be a different view in the newer TVs with HD/Plasma/Flat screen, etc.

You may remember that my friend Mary recently came back from Disneyland and came back with a couple of gifts for me that I thought you would enjoy seeing.



Remember me looking for luggage tags? Well, she got me one! And the sucker is huge! That's my hand for size comparison. I don't know if i should put it on my luggage for fear it will be taken! LOL

I also got a very nice Disneyland pin

I'm hoping to make it out there someday. I think I would enjoy seeing the differences between the Land and the World.




And I keep on promising pics of my PA purchases from a few weeks back.

The new (park) bag? It is supposed to be for hiking. It long and has a zillion zippers everywhere. I *think* I'm going to bring it with me.

I also picked up Mickey Mouse Treasures. However I have yet to actually open it. I will soon and yes, I know it's upside down. I can't edit in Twitrpix. Anyone else have/know of this?

I also bought a luggage tag, no pic! Just a regular ol' normal one. So, now I am swimming in luggage tags. If I can find a travel alarm, I'll be good.


I also thought you would like to see my zillion Mickey head paint chips. Not lying, got quite a few. Even Mary looked at me strange. I have no idea what crafty thing I will do with them as I now have plenty of luggage tags. Maybe a memorial nametag sort of thing for Cris? Any other ideas?

Lest I forget! I did a quick WalMart run and was able to get UP! for $9.96 with the $10 off coupon and in-store special. It was originally $29.96.

And thanks to Ty, I knew there was some flannel Mickey winter wonderland PJs to be found, so I hunted around and finally found my size!

I love them too! There was normal PJs, but I wanted the blue winter wonderland ones. They were in Ty's (disneyaddicted) PTR.

Holy buckets! Those are really scary! I can't imagine a child, even decades ago, would get warm fuzzy feelings looking at those Mickey & Minnies! Lordy.

I will fully reread the book later, but it seemed it is really super cool.

I spent my 10th day before vacation with a visit to the specialist my doc wanted me to go to (the same place as the earlier post). And again, I got, "you're not breathing!"

Umm, errr, lady-medical-praticioner-but-civilian, I do believe I AM breathing. Apparently, I am a figment of her imagination or offended her sense how HOW people should breathe.

Anyhoo, I got weighed (why they need to know this information, I don't know), and I lost a whole 3 lbs since my weigh-in at my doc in mid-Oct. Not exactly the 10 lbs, I was aiming for but, heck, I'll take it!

On the much more important side......

Upcoming Disney stuff:
This Saturday, I am going to the special screening in NYC of "Princess & the Frog" and afterwards there is some sort of Disney party-time thing going on at a nearby theater.

Earlier in the day, I'm also heading over to Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) to see the Tim Burton exhibit. I'm don't know if there will be any "Alice in Wonderland" exhibits there.

Mayhaps, even another stop at the Disney store.
