Ok so this is the first plan I have EVER done and at the moment is only a very rough plan! Please tell me what you think and if/how I could make it better: :thumbsup2

I will firstly say we have a car :drive: and we have 14 days unlimited passes for all the WDW parks and Uni and IOA :yay: We are also not going to any water parks as neither of us like them.

24/9 - Epcot (with the choice of seeing Illuminations)
25/9 - Magic Kingdom
26/9 - Animal Kingdom
27/9 - Day Off (lazy day, shopping etc)
28/9 - Universal Studios
29/9 - Hollywood Studios
30/9 - Day off (lazy day, shopping etc)

1/10 - Islands of Adventure
2/10 - Universal
3/10 - Day off with Magic Kingdom in PM for Electrical parade and wishes
4/10 - Epcot and Food & Wine Festival (choice of watching Illuminations)
5/10 - Islands of Adventure
6/10 - SeaWorld (?) (possibly leave early and head to HS ready for a few rides and then Fantasmic)

As I said this is a rough draft and my first ever trip plan. I have used various crowd tools to establish best parks to visit etc but I think this is ok...

Have you checked to see when the parks have extra magic hours so you know which parks to go to and which to avoid if you don't want to do that:thumbsup2

If have also noticed I have missed Fantasmic out and would like to fit another day at Hollywood studios in...! This planning is not easy :confused3 Maybe we could visit H.S on a evening when Fantasmic is on and ride some of the rides too...!

You could fit Fantasmic! in on the evening of one of your rest days or AK days, as AK closes earlier.

Sounds great though, you deffinitely need those rest days in there just to recharge your batteries so to speak.

:yay: Excellent idea!! I forgot AK shuts early! Awesome plan! Thank you for that! :cheer2: I think I will pencil it in for the evening of the 6/10. I didn't want to go to HS in the evening to watch it before we had been there in the day so it fits in nicely there!

no Seaworld? Couldn't even think about not going to Seaworld...

Looking good though.

Also tobe honest I think if you are spending a whole day at AK then you prob won't need another whole day if anymore time at all. You are going when it is quiet and you really could do AK in one day if you get there early.

How exciting..:cool1:

:sad2: Silly me I forgot SeaWorld!!! How did I manage that :rotfl:

Ok, I really have no idea where to fit that in!!

Ok, how about taking out AK on 6/10 and doing SeaWorld bright and early and then going to HS in the evening for a few rides and Fantasmic at 8 :confused3

I would cut AK back to 2 half days maximum and do something else in the evenings. I would add more time in the evenings at Epcot for F&W. It is vary rare that we finish the day at the park we start at.

I would choose a couple of evenings to be in MK to see MSEP & Wishes - at the end of September we have had in cancelled a coupe of times due to late storms.

I would also cut the rest days and do Seaworld then instead.

Yes you could do that. With Seaworld you need to grab a map asap and turn it over for the times of the shows. Just sit down for 5 mins with a pen and circle the times of each show working your way around the park. By the way if you are going to the Clyde and Seymore Show (a total must do) make sure you arrive VERY early unless you want to be part of the show!!!!!!!! :rolleyes1

Your schedule looks great. Here are some things you may want to consider.

1) You may want to plan more days to relax or do say mini golf at WDW or hang out by the pool.
2) Why not do UI and IOA on consecutive days? Does your pass also include Wet and Wild?
3). You may not need as many days in each park as you think. A lot depends on how you do parks. Do you stay until close or go early and leave early? You will need about 2 days to do MK, one day each for Epcot, AK and HS.
4) take advantage of Extra Magic HOurs at WDW. There are less people in the park and you can ride more rides.

I think you need more then one day in Epcot, its huge! If you are a first timer to WDW its always going to take longer. The more times you go the more you know what not to bother with or the short cuts. They said water parks/pools are not their thing (nor ours), but I do think that IOA and US only need a day each, mind you thats coming from somebody that isn't a huge fan of either park and we can manage to do both in one day! US is usually totally empty first thing as everybody legs it to IOA then it's the reverses in the after noon abeit not as empty at IOA. She said she has already worked the EMH into her parks so that will help. As first timers the size of WDW will hit you like a brick. People always under estimate just how big it is. First time plans seem to not work out exactly as planned due to this also..:)

Thank you so much everyone! We are not going to Busch Gardens this time but if we go again to Florida in a few years I think we may do it then! :thumbsup2

I have put Epcot in for 2 days already so that's ok! :) I have been to WDW once before in 2000 with my parents but this is my first time as an adult (i'm 25) and with my boyfriend (it's his first time there, he is 26) :goodvibes

Our pass doesn't include W&W but neither of us like water parks so we are going to leave those.

I have tried to give us 2 days at each park just because I want us to take our time and not have to rush and miss anything and it also gives us the chance to ride stuff again that we enjoyed! :yay: I know there is so much to see and we want to enjoy every second :goodvibes

Yeah, we will be planning to watch the shows! I went to see the Clyde and Seymore show when I came to Florida in 2000 with my parents and I remember loving it :rotfl2: so I am definitely planning to see it this time! I am sure my boyfriend will love it too! He has never been to Florida before :goodvibes

How exciting that you are going on your first "adult" trip! My boyfriend and I did this in 2010 and the second we arrived we became big kids and had the best time ever.

Your plans look brilliant and I think with it just being the two of you (and having a car) you will have plenty of time to get about and be a bit flexible too to make sure you see everything you want and redo the best bits like you said.

Thank you! It's all very exciting :yay: Our first holiday together was Egypt last year but obviously this is a completely different league :rotfl2:

Glad you think the plans are ok! I am quite pleased with it and think we should see all we want to see, fingers crossed :goodvibes

If you've got a car then item number 280935714461 on a certain popular auction site could be very useful to you. We did it last time we went - you still have to pay for parking unless you're staying onsite of course, but you get to park in the special allocated areas (subject to space of course!) which are normally right next to the disabled bays at the front of the car parks :thumbsup2

I like your plan. I made a plan once. Renamed it a guide, then on Day 2 threw it away :rotfl:

LOL! :rotfl2:
In the past I have literally spent weeks working on plans, and we have sort of stuck to them, but you can never quite imagine how sore your feet are going to be after all the walking around the parks, and sometimes the thought of soaking them in a nice cool pool overtakes the urge to go back out again for the evening. LOL!

Looks like a nice plan, but just remember to be flexible as there will always be things you will want to change.

Have fun....sooooo exciting.
We still have 14 months and I'm already making notes for my pack list and plan for what I want to do when we're there.
:)
