Vero Room Differences

We just came back from WDW and spent a night at Vero, which was wonderful. I got a last-minute reservation and was very pleased to have an Inn room. The room had two queen beds. I have been told by folks here on the Boards that the Studios have the one bed plus pullout couch setup like studios at many DVC resorts. The studios are in outlying buildings, close to the main building but separate. Our room was right IN the Inn and so it had the two beds.

We parked in a garage under the Inn and took the elevator right up to our room, very convenient. The Inn has the restaurants plus the lounge and gift shop. It would be great to be right there in case of a rainy day. The outlying buildings had parking near them and were just a few minutes walk away. The whole area faces the beach and has beautiful landscaping and flowers. The pool area was great and had adjacent mini golf and a snack bar plus a community hall.

Hope this helps. We had a great little mini-vacation at Vero.

If you go to the Disney vacation club web site, you can look at floor plans of each room type and see a 360 degree view of each room type.

The specific link for the Vero Beach accommodations page is:
http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/guest/resorts/resortGuestDetail?id=VBGuestAccommodationDetailPage

You'll see a list of room types. Click on one and a little window pops up to display the floor plan. Click on "View 360 degree Room Tour" and another window pops up. Once it has loaded, click on the room type you are interested in.

We were in a studio in one of the buildings - I think it was 15. It was a nice change from being in a hotel - the rooms weren't a rectangle and off a long corridor. There's both underground and outside parking. We were on the top floor and could see the ocean from the balcony. That's a bonus for us people from the prairies.

We'd go back again.

We like the Inn rooms because of the two queen size beds (two DDs11-twins, and they prefer the bed to the sofa bed). We also like having the store right there. Last time we were on the 2nd floor and there are stairs that go right down to the lobby from there and we went down and got videos for the evening and could just run them right back the next morning.

You can get an ocean view Inn room or a garden view. With the studios you are not sure which you will get.

The laundry is on the top floor in the Inn, and very easy to use when staying there. We just put in our clothes and went back to our room until time to go get them again.
