You will LOVE Vero! We had a great time there!
We only stayed 2 nights, so we grabbed fast food in town a couple meals, and one night we cooked in our suite since we had a kitchen. In the lobby, they have a huge book (actually I think there are 2 books) of restaurant menus and information from all over - the front desk will also give tips on local places. We didn't eat at Shutters or Sonyas, as we're super cheap and would rather grab something in town cheaper or make it ourself, but they looked really nice. I take that back - one evening, DH and I went to the upstairs bar, outside on the patio, and ordered dessert from the downstairs restaurants and drinks - it's beautiful up there, and they have nightly entertainment. The dessert was yummy =)
We did buy a chicken finger kids meal from the pool bar one day because we wanted the pail and shovel it comes with for the beach

The chicken fingers were really yummy, and a fair price since you got the pail and stuff with it. DH and my brother went fishing with a local place, so they had lunch on the boat and then brought back fish that we cooked for dinner that night.
We had a 2 bedroom villa thing, so we had a full kitchen so we took advantage of bringing drinks and snacks to use, having breakfast in the room, and the fish dinner one night out on the balcony.
I think
www.allearsnet.com have menus for their restaurants, as well, on it.
