Don't know if this is the right place... but we just got engaged :)
We will be hitting Epcot the last day of our honeymoon (which will also be my bday)...but we have been wanting to marry on the beach (and GF is out of budget!!)..
Anyone have any info on Disneys Vero Beach Resort, if you or someone you know has married there? We may also look at staying there after finding a place to have a beach wedding.

As of now, we are looking at Captiva Island until we get more definite plans :)

We've been to the Vero Beach several times over the years and it's wonderful. We have seen some weddings during our stays, but they have always been on the lawn outside the main building. I've heard or read somewhere that they will not do a wedding on the beach. The lawn area is very nice and the setup was beautiful. hth...

You are correct they don't offer a beach wedding, but if you are having a smaller ceremony (<35 guests) they do offer a wedding on the boardwalk - which is very nice.

There is a picture of the boardwalk ceremony. I also have pricing information for both ceremony and receptions. But it wont let me post the link.

Unforuntately since I am new I can't PM - think I can give you the link:

verobeach.com/disney_catering/

Add (www/com) and it should give you a link to an overview. I am not sure how to attach the other documents (or if I am even allowed to...)

Are you able to post the pricing for the Boardwalk wedding?:goodvibes

Thanks in advance.

Oh the croquet lawn ceremony too if you have it. Thanks.

Here are some photos I put together.

The Crouquet lawn is approx 800 for a ceremony and the Boardwalk is 1000

Thats great thank you.:thumbsup2

Do you know what that price includes? Sorry for all the questions.:flower3:

No Problem!

I think the price just includes the staff, set-up and chairs. We are choosing the boardwalk ceremony, and our price for our entire ceremony is 1500 - which includes appetizers and a champagne toast set-up on the boardwalk. We are going to do group pictures there for an hour or so - so it gives everyone a little to eat until we go to the reception.
