Vero Beach - Points or II Exchange - Can it be done?

Hello,

We are looking at spending a few days or more at Vero Beach this May. Is it less expensive to find a Interval week (how does it work; what is the value?) to buy from someone or rent points out. We want to go to Vero either May 7th -May 10th or if it were for a whole week, May 2nd -May 9th (or somewhere thereabouts). I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Tat would be your best bet I suspect. II will be a full week for likely 160 points.

Thanks for answering. I guess that what I am really asking is how would someone who has a banked week in II "buy" a week at Vero? Should I look for someone who has a week banked and see if it will convert to Vero?

Perhaps I am not sure how it all works (in fact I am sure that is the case) but I was looking for the least expensive way in to Vero Thanks again.

For a regular member of II, they would have to have a week to use and that week would have to be strong enough to pull VB plus VB would have to have a week that was deposited. VB does come up but usually for late fall and May.

One idea might be Marriott's Ocean Pointe in West Palm area. It should be pretty easy to get during May. There is currently nothing in May for DVC VB.
