Vero Beach or Hilton Head?

Which resort would be better for 3 kids, 3 and under- Vero Beach or Hilton Head? Hilton Head seems to have more activities for younger kids. Any opinions?

I think both have activities for children. I don't have young ones, but I found many children having fun at both. If you want to be next to the water, then VB is your best option. HH is lovely but a little ways from the ocean. They both have great pools. HH is closer to all activities off the resort. VB has a drive to get to anything. I think your children would enjoy either one. I don't remember which post had this info, but someone posted all the activities their children had participated in at VB. You may want to look at it.

I've been to both and I'd recomend VB for younger kids, including my own, over HH. It's logistically easier and the pool is much bigger, albeit HH has two nice pools. At VB you'll be able to leave your room and go to the beach or pool with equal ease and there are a great number of activities around the pool during the day. To go to the beach at HH you have to drive across the street to the Beach House, which is great, but we all know the effort it takes to gather young ones and all the gear that goes with them. If you need to go back to your room for any reason, you have to drive or shuttle bus back which can be a drag. VB also has sitdown restaraunts on site while HH does not.

Keep in mind, I say this as I prepare to take my DS(3) and DD(6) to HH the last week of August. I weighed the pros and cons and the amazing golf won out this year.

Overall you wont go wrong either way. Enjoy!

Having been to both I'd vote VB for younger kids. It has everything very close. You'll love it.
