What is Vero beach like in mid- june?

Perfect.

We were there. No bugs, low 90's each day. Vero is Disney's best kept secret. I'm amazed more people don't go there. I know it's expensive, but we really like spending three nights there after a WDW trip.

But, we drive from Chicago and already have our vehicle. The 2 hour drive to Vero is nothing for us from WDW.

Vero's beach is so clean and pleasant. You can rent Jet Ski's and Sunfish sailboats or even a catamaran if you know what you're doing. The pool is awesome with the lighthouse slide.

They have all kinds of activities if you want them. We drive to the Publix and buy the makings for sandwiches and chips and eat on the beach or by the pool.

Lots of dining choices in Vero or Sebastian in addition to the onsite restaurants.

Don't miss the Mel Fisher Treasure Museum in Sebastian. There's a discount coupon in the magazine in your room. Amazing stuff.

I can't say enought about Vero. I cannot imagine how a resort could be improved beyond how topclass Disney does it there.

We love Disney's Vero Beach. June is a nice time to go. We go every summer to stay there. This year we are going in Aug. Last year was the first year that we stayed in a Vacation Club Room and we loved it. Its a great place.

we LOVE vero beach. we always stay for 3 or 4 days before disney! june is great, 90's, but you have the beach and pool and lots of shade to cool you down, they have a fun dj by the pool with games conducted by the staff for the kids (and adults too!) i know they had poolside twister, tug-o-war, and a dance-off one day. they have a great restaurant, shutters, and a publix really close to property so if you forget sunscreen or whatever, its about 5, maybe 10 minute drive or so? theres also a little pizza place nearby that we discovered last time, its in a cute country-clubish neighborhood called orchid or something? and almost all the buildings are pink!

We love Vero Beach too. It is so clean and beautiful!! We went last year in Mid-June. This year we are going in August. The pool is great. My 4 year old twins love the small kids area. They have a pirate ship with a slide. The pool has a big slide too. The beach is really nice. There are also lots of activities for the kids. We went to the campfire every night for songs and S'mores. This year we are getting a 2 bedroom villa. I can't wait to see it. We even did a character breakfast on either a Sat. or Sun. (can't remember)

There are so many more good things that I could say about Vero Beach!!

(There were these small bugs at night. Someone told me they were called no-see-ums. I had never heard of them, but we sure felt them. When we went to the campfire at night they were really bad. I will be bringing some kind of bug spray this year)
