Verizon Iphone 8gb vs 16gb

I'm considering upgrading my phone for an Iphone4 the 8gb is $100 less than the 16gb, do I need the 16gb or can I save myself $100? Thanks, Linda :)

I think you should get the 16gb if you want to keep a lot of pictures and music on it. It's not hard to swap stuff around, but it can be a bit of a pain, especially if you want to keep a couple movies or something like that on it for when you travel.

I have the 32g iPhone, and I really wish that I had the option for 64gig like my itouch has (as it is, my 32 gig is almost completely full, and I have a lot of music that isn't even on it).

Mine is pre-ordered. 4G, 16GB of internal mem and a micro sd slot to add 32 or more additional. All iPhones are 3G currently. Apple snickers at the buyers that think an iPhone 4 or 4s is 4G.

Just a FYI, Verizon is changing their calling/data plans on June 28. It might be to your benefit to upgrade BEFORE then, so you're grandfathered into your current plan. Go a google search for "new Verizon calling plans" and you'll see the info about it.
I was just going to post about that. We have the old 'unlimited data' plans. The next time that we upgrade our phones after June 28, we will lose those plans. My advice for anyone with an unlimited data plan is to upgrade your phone right now if you have been at all considering it.

That's exactly what I did...I had 2 upgrades available on my family plan and used both of them recently. If I had to take the new plan, my bill would raise from $100 to $170 a month (before taxes, etc). :scared1: If I upgrade a phone in the future, I will just buy it outright at the full price. The $70 a month that I'm saving will pay for a lot of phones, even at the non-promotional price.
