Vent: Why do people ask questions just so they can attack your answer?

I know what you mean. I used to get it from friends and family too, whether they had children or not. These are the easy decisions though Kermit, I think, and the easiest to stick with because it's just your little family involved. Once mine grew up a little there were times I polled people to see what I should do with them. LOL. They are still young, they're great kids, but you'll see me here someday, "ok, now what do I do?!" :p :p

My advice is the same to everyone - enjoy it as much as possible, it goes fast. No matter what it is - birth, introducing cereal, terrible twos or watching Barney - looking back, you'd swear it all went by in a flash. I'm glad I was warned about that. :D

Kermit,
I was picked on when I was pregnant also. I chose early on not to breast feed. Let's see: my baby would have ear infections because of this, she'd be messed up and never bond with me etc. etc. DD and I are bonded and she has NEVER EVER had an ear infection...I'd like to hunt those people down & tell each of them LOL

I wanted an epidural and they couldn't believe this. Couldn't believe that I wouldn't at least try to do it natural (no, thank you)
Meet me in the parking lot with the needle, please! LOL

I knew I was having a girl from the ultrasound. Sure they make mistakes but hey, that stopped no one from trying to tell me she was going to be a boy. Except for the NICE lady who said, "It must be a girl, she has robbed you of your beauty." Thank you again. LOL

Then they all wanted to touch my belly. No, thank you. Please do NOT touch my tummy (maybe if you ask nicely)

People were rude and gave advice that I didn't ask for or need. You learn a lot when you are carrying a baby, that is for sure. :)

Good luck, Kermit. My prayers are with you. Do whatever you want. :)

Hee hee now I breast fed both my girls (first for 9 months second for 18 months) and both had so many ear infections and were becoming resistant to antibotics that we had to place tubes in their ears....
