So is it a glitch or a new policy? I admittedly didn't read the whole thread but it seems like mass confusion and different answers dependent on the CS agent spoken too. I am tempted to say wait it out but DD gets really upset if her animals are not well and it has been over a week since the first message on that board.

This is just horrible. My kids probably have over 50 webkinz between the two of them. They will lose all their money and not be able to feed all of them. Do we know if this is really a glitch or is this how it is going to be for now on???

as I sais, I was told it was a new feature. I don't consider it a very good "feature". It is not a glitch, it is intentional. The woman on the phone even talked to me about how often we would ahve to log on to keep the pets happy and how long it would take before all the pets got to 0.

no one knows for sure until I hear anything final its a glitch.. my girls (and son) dont have 15kk to send them to the spa!

Nope. And frankly, I wish my kid's had never been sucked in. However, now that they have, it stinks that they are changing the way things work. I don't spend a lot of time watching my kids play and they don't get to spend much time playing but I really can't see why they would do this. How will they sell more "pets" if it takes more effort to keep the ones you have healthy?

I am rethinking easter already. I want the cotton candy bunny.. I mean Abby wants the bunny... but they dont have hours to play on the computer with them each day.. what about their ad that use to say.. get outside and play?

My daughter called me over to the computer today. She told me all about this latest Webkinz problem. Yes she is upset about it. I'll keep watching to find out if it is a glitch or not. If not, I will contact them.

Checked two of our five accounts and we too have the problem. I emailed from one of the accounts and also directly on the Ganz site. Told them if this was the new policy than we wouldn't be getting any new Webkinz !!! Isn't this supposed to fun for the kids? Why should they have to worry about their pets?

I was online yesterday for DS (4) and saw all 6 were darn-near dead. At first I thought all the animals hadn't been put to bed but they were all sleeping. It had only been 2 weeks since they had been played with. I couldn't believe it, but now after reading this thread, I see what happened. That sucks. We did get his health and hunger up to 100, but he was not happy. If I answered Quizzy's questions correctly then he got happy. Do you know how long it took me to get all 6 happy enough? I should have better things to do!! If this is a permanent "glitch", we won't be buying any more. What does Ganz hope to gain from this?

Is this their "jump the shark"? I am sure if they are flooded with complaints it will be removed.

On insider it may be a glitch. Let's hope it is fixed soon.

I was wondering the same thing. We have 3 accounts (3 kids) & my oldest 2 each have about 15 & my youngest has about 8.

I logged onto my ds's last night & wondered why they were all at 80%. I have been playing a different kids site every night if I can to get them money (plus I like Pizza Palace & I can rack up a good 200-300 $$).

I am afraid to go on my youngest site for fear that her pets will be dead. She has the most money so I go on hers the least.

I was thinking the same thing as I was reading this thread. My oldest saw the lamb & bunny & went "aww...". And of course I thought Easter Bunny. But I am not so sure now.

This kind of sounds like what happened with Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom. Maybe Ganz is going to roll out some new online community and tell all the present Webkinz owners how much of an improvement it will be ...

I'll be sending emails with our thoughts from all of our accounts. I'm not impressed with these changes and we won't be buying anymore Webkinz if this is how they want to run it. Too bad, I was going to get DD the bunny for her easter basket, but I do not like this at all.

My kids got tired of all that and now dd10 goes on Club Penguin instead. Sorry that it has become such a problem - I used to like playing the games for the kids too - now I hang out on Pogo.

I think my DD may be the only child with webkinz that has no idea that she can do anything on line with them.
She has 2 and is getting a 3rd for Easter. She just think they are cute and cuddly. Haven't paid full price for one yet.
DD is 6 and I don't want her playing on-line. I did keep the tags though.

Can I ask why you dont want her to play online?
