Vent about Webkinz !!!

I read this last night and went on my girls accounts. All 3 of them are so low.

Again, I was told this was a "new feature". I hope they pull it back and make it "a never should have happened feature".

I'm looking at my kids accounts right now. They haven't played in over a week and share an acct.

At least 1/2 of their animals have VERY low food status...like 30 or 40. They are all still "happy" but dang!!!


Oh wait...GRRRRRRRRRR my DD JUST GOT the killer whale on Sunday 3/1 and it's ALREADY today 3/4 it's food is 45! Seriously, she just got it and it's already starving?

And I noticed that regular food doesn't make them healthier...just their $25 food.

We haven't been on in a week because of the flu I'm sure all our pets are near 0 the kids have been asleep 18 hours out of the day they didn't have hours to spend playing with their pets to keep em happy if this stays they'll play even less webkinz day is coming up I won't be spend g a lot of money this yr like I did last year that's for sure

The thing that really bugs is that you have to get a webkinz every six months, or they will delete your account

How does this bother you? Its absolutely dirt cheap! Similar sized stuffed animals are priced the same as Webkinz, so the web-site ends up being a free perk.

My brother plays several on-line gaming sites, and none of them are as complex as Webkinz and all cost more than, the 8 bucks it takes to buy a lil'kinz once a year. Since kinz are reasonably priced and easily purchased by friends and relatives at card stores, Mom and Dad would never HAVE to shell out.

Can I ask why you dont want her to play online?

One reason is I think she has better things to do with her time. She doesn't watch much TV either.

Maybe they are fixing it hopefully.

And you have to buy an animal yearly to keep an account, not every 6 months.

In addition if you do it early they give you some extra weeks on top of that.

Too funny -- I thought I was the only adult that played Webkinz!!! I started doing it to get them some money, and now I find myself playing the games just to unwind!

To the poster that gets $200-300 on Pizza Palace what is your secret? I was so stinking mad one day. I was rocking on Color Storm, plus it was the game of the day with a 30% bonus, and the stupid site jammed up so I didn't the 300 bucks!

Check out the link to the thread in my sig. Poor thread hasn't received many posts lately. I hope this latest thing IS a glitch and that they address it fast! We've been doing Webkinz for almost three years now and have lots of hungry pets right now. There just aren't enough hours in the day to feed them all!

Mine play Webkinz(+Poptropica AND Build a Bearville online), watch TV, play on the WII AND use their DS's. Sometimes all on the same day.


Back to the topic at hand-I had no idea-I'll have to ask my kids-I hope they change it. Both of my children have FAR too many Webkinz, but I am a sucker. It's not even the $ really, it's the fact that they afre taking over the house. My son insists they all stay on his bed-between his beanie babies, his Webkinz and his Build a Bears, there is barely room for him in there. Drives me crazy.
