I’m late but here’s my final thought - no FW but get 200 pts.

If it wasn’t restricted, I’d leave it at 150 but I truly believe you’ll end up wanting more points here and once it’s sold out, you’re looking at restricted resale or direct for even more $$$. Sorry to be an enabler!! (And yes, this logic is exactly how I wound up with 460 pts at RIV ).

I think 200 only makes sense if you will end up selling some of your resale.

I think it will be a while before VDH sell out. You can always choose to sell BLT down the road and buy more VDH if that’s where your heart is. Just lock in your blue card for now. 740 points is a LOT of points to enjoy.

After all the reading up to this point, I vote 150 VDH, use the points for yourself, plan on buying the 24 OTUP each year that you're running low.
If you sell off a contract, pick up another small VDH. Only do that after you sell a contract, though. Happy wife= Happy life

I'm going to vote for sticking at 150 VDH points. I'd personally do MB, but I am sensing that you will get a lot of enjoyment out of having those extra points to use for a welcome home stay. So, I'd nix MB, and book yourself an incredible welcome home stay, whether that is at VDH or somewhere else - maybe you have a repeat PVB stay that I know you enjoyed so much last September.

It's probably at least a year and a half before PIT sells out. You may well find yourself wanting to add direct points there before it's sold out. Keep your powder dry for now.

With the 150 we added on at DLH while at Aulani we now have 456 direct points at DLH June use year. 2 bedroom points for us for an annual summer trip on the way to Hawaii most years.

I'd do 150 points
Magical Beginnings
Take the cost savings to get a decent amount of the loan paid off quickly... deposit the check Monday and pay that portion of the loan Tuesday...

But...
Given you didn't use all your resale points this year, I'd consider if there are any resale contracts you can get out of without having to bring money- not sure if those are financed currently or not. If so, I'd consider perhaps adding a few more points to the VDH, and selling a resale contract. Would help you get rid of your excess points (the ones you don't need) and would give you more points with California priority.

I'm not a fan of having excess points for a number of reasons... Others disagree with this... I feel like run my points very tight, and if I find that isn't enough, then I'll buy more...

So...

If selling another contract helps get you to the 200... only then would I do it...
