VDH Opening

Idk, when you have littles it sure is nice to knock out all of Fantasyland first thing and then have the option to head to Galaxy Edge line before the masses. Or even skip that and basically have Frontierland and Adventureland to yourself when the park officially opens!
From my experience, ROTR is always down when they first open in the morning. I can't recall how many times we've been turned away, beelining it after our 30 minutes was up at Fantasyland.

Wow; that's definitely poolside/garden units. Nice. 2BRLO? Maybe. That's a very nice location for ideal staycation level stay for families pool bound
Garden units are deluxe studios and duo studios.

Totally agree! We only stayed offsite until recently when we stayed at the DLH, it was more magical! Everyone also seems to be forgetting the advantage of early entry! Lots can be accomplished in that 30 mins at Disneyland 🙌
Does early entry apply to day of check in as well? As a local I never rope drop and the last time I got to dland early was for the candy canes. I remember it being super pleasant in the morning so maybe I’ll take advantage of this my next on-site stay next month.

yes, it applies to both day of check-in and check-out

The bubble definitely includes DH, especially once they get that end of DTD back up and going. PP remains mostly 'outside' the bubble with the need to walk through parking lots -- but the new gate to DCA really improves on the bubble feeling for PP goers.

Early Entry makes a difference for hotel goers rope droppers which most locals don't do unless onsite and most little ones still struggling for breakfast and getting ready. One can plow through fantasyland or hit all the mountains before the masses arrive en force after 930A. It's similar to the post fireworks 1000p-12mn runs that locales love.

Sorry, I missed the details on the new gate to DCA? Any links?

If you're staying at VGC just exit the first floor by the laundry past the BBQ and you're SO close to the entrance. I can get from my room in VGC to standing in front of Goofy Sky School through security in 3 mins.

Thanks for posting these! I think it's likely something changed. The recent Disney Parks Blog post indicated 344 rooms and these plans add up to 350 with full LO splitting.

Also there's a 'door to nowhere' on Floor 2 between the 1BR and the Studio. The 1BR has a door to the adjoining room but the adjoining Studio doesn't have the corresponding door. Hopefully that changed.

Yes I noted that on boards a while back too - back then I was hoping for a surprise like more 1-2 bedrooms or a quick service restaurant. I don't see where they would add any 1-2s where the others are when you look at the renderings but maybe they snuck a few on the likely standard view side facing parking lot. 6 not used rooms would leave room for 2,400 sq feet of ____ ?

It really makes Paradise Gardens a viable take out..plates and tray and all and eat in our VGC room.-- THAT"s bubble level stays

Bing Bong's just a short walk and Churros and hot dog castle to boot. That entrance reopening has made it very nice for our VGC stays.

VDH benefits as it makes DCA access pretty nice and still have the monorail option for DL
