VDH Opening

I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next fella, but I'll throw this out there... The cost and year language in the email has been displayed here on the the general disclosures page since the beginning of the year: https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/product-country-disclosures?CMP=EMC-1745186593|361507186&cid=PDM694941&bid=101418842

So I question if we should read too much into them... But carry on!
"General Product, State, & Country Disclosures" mine was a different link but word for word the same legalese

the wording is because of use year differences - later use years will expire later in 2074 i think is the implication

Resorts are all given the exact end date so that would not be it...doesn't matter which UY you buy as its tied to the ground lease.

The year is different though because the email says 2074 not 2062

I was in the GC DVC office a week or so ago, grabbing some Magic Band sliders, and I guessed $217 PP, with incentives up to $17 PP.

I also had a long conversation with a Guide yesterday at VGF, (not an Advanced Sales Associate, but an actual Guide), and he confirmed that they were scrambling to get people licensed in California (including the Guides who normally work on the cruise ships). As with everyone else, he did not have any info on actual dates or prices (I didn’t ask) , just that they need Guides.

They've had several job announcements for guides on the Disney site over the past couple months, offering up to 70k plus commission.

Anyone actually follow through with what the email said and called in to talk to a guide today? I’m itching for more info but tired of being told “we don’t know anything yet, but soon.” I am at DCA at the moment.. maybe with enough cocktails from Lamplight I won’t care about bothering the guides. 😅
