Geez Paul, what a thread killer!! LOLI love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next fella, but I'll throw this out there... The cost and year language in the email has been displayed here on the the general disclosures page since the beginning of the year: https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/product-country-disclosures?CMP=EMC-1745186593|361507186&cid=PDM694941&bid=101418842
So I question if we should read too much into them... But carry on!

the wording is because of use year differences - later use years will expire later in 2074 i think is the implication
The year is different though because the email says 2074 not 2062I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next fella, but I'll throw this out there... What’s the current guesstimate on price per point? Where are Riviera and Grand Floridian currently? I have no idea.
Thanks. I’ve kind of been out of the loop on purchase prices because we haven’t added on since RIV opened and have no plans to buy more points.I thought the current pricing was $217/point.
217 is my guess. They’ll use point charts to make it expensive, not point price. What’s the current guesstimate on price per point? Where are Riviera and Grand Floridian currently? I have no idea.
They've had several job announcements for guides on the Disney site over the past couple months, offering up to 70k plus commission.I was in the GC DVC office a week or so ago, grabbing some Magic Band sliders, and I guessed $217 PP, with incentives up to $17 PP.
I also had a long conversation with a Guide yesterday at VGF, (not an Advanced Sales Associate, but an actual Guide), and he confirmed that they were scrambling to get people licensed in California (including the Guides who normally work on the cruise ships). As with everyone else, he did not have any info on actual dates or prices (I didn’t ask) , just that they need Guides.
I feel like that’s uncompetitive in high end sales today. Unless that commission is huge. Which given Disney’s low pressure sales model, I doubt. They've had several job announcements for guides on the Disney site over the past couple months, offering up to 70k plus commission.
