Hm... lucky you?For those that did magical beginnings, did you get points deposit in 2023 anyway? Cuz I did and I do see the magical beginnings doc in my docusign as well.![]()
I think soI'm a little confused about the Disneyland Forward project. Does this expansion indicate that the Disneyland hotel could have an entrance directly into the DL park?
This is normal. They won't remove them for 24-48 hours (guides are supposed to explain this to you when you sign up for Magical Beginnings). For those that did magical beginnings, did you get points deposit in 2023 anyway? Thanks for setting me straight. Here I was dreaming what I would do with the extra 150ptsThis is normal. They won't remove them for 24-48 hours (guides are supposed to explain this to you when you sign up for Magical Beginnings).
Can they do inside roller coasters like Rockin Rollercoaster? One thing I did read is cannot build any rollar coasters there due to zoning. So more dark rides or other attractions besides rollar coasters
Aside from the number of MM's, what else is really different? Discounts and lounges are equal. I could see maybe offering discounted AP's for DVC members, but the number of owners and guests staying at the two resorts at any given time likely doesn't really make an AP in So Cal nearly as valuable as in WDW if you're not a local.Currently they dont do much in California for members but thinking that might change with a lot more members.
They have a lounge now, and I thought they were doing a Midnight Madness. There are also the usual merch, food, and AP discounts. So we are on a cruise and just bought in. I guess the only thing new I learned was to get the blue card you need at least a 150 point contract. We were resale with no blue card so we went for it. Currently they dont do much in California for members but thinking that might change with a lot more members.
See above. The only real difference I see is access to significant AP discounts, but I don't see that as having the same benefit here as in WDW.They have a lounge now, and I thought they were doing a Midnight Madness. There are also the usual merch, food, and AP discounts.
Lol! Us too! Although we should make it to BWV ok (knock on wood!)We most definitely won’t make it to the VDH expiration - we’re just hoping to make it to the BWV expiration, so we can finally know the answer to the question “How are they going to do it?”!
So far on my trips to WDW, there is usually some DVC event going on. It could be as simple as new ride preview to like the event yesterday screen and scream. It might not appeal to everyone but I’ve done the Encanto preview and then also did a brunch with Jodi Benson. I was super psyched about riding Cosmic Rewind early. Been to the Star Lounge 5 times now and there’s been a decent amount of DVC members each time. I would definitely appreciate more events here in SoCal.Aside from the number of MM's, what else is really different? Discounts and lounges are equal. Hard to say at this time, but it's implied that the new lands on the Disneyland Hotel/Paradise Pier Hotel side of the road will both stretch to meet the hub where the Disneyland Hotel meets Downtown Disney. At a minimum the front of the hotel would be the entrance to both parks and similar to the back entrance to Epcot it would likely only be resort guests or park hoppers using them.I'm a little confused about the Disneyland Forward project. Does "decent amount" = "kinda crowded"? I saw some pics of the space and it looks really nice, but I'm worried that it may get too crowded: wait lines, jostling for table space, no outdoor seating, etc....Been to the Star Lounge 5 times now and there’s been a decent amount of DVC members each time. I've been in there 4 times now, and there has been ample seating every time (50-60% capacity). Plus, there are about 20 or so tables outside (4 chairs each) as well that seem rarely used and sitting outdoors is absolutely fine practically year round in Anaheim. I would say the interior space is maybe 20-25% larger than the Epcot lounge, seating capacity-wise.Does "decent amount" = "kinda crowded"? There’s decent amount of space. And I almost usually have the whole outdoors area to myself which I love. Today though the tables and chairs were missing outdoors (I’m going to assume due to weather) so I ate my lunch indoors. I feel at Epcot it’s been like 50/50 that I might to wait a bit for a table but Star View Lounge has been walk up so far. They are now offering a VDH sticker and VDH button along with the Star View Lounge goodies.Does "decent amount" = "kinda crowded"?
