Have you seen how high the VGC resale prices have been the last couple days?! I obviously don’t know what you paid, but I’m guessing you did better than the $290 and $315 pp contracts I saw come through yesterday and today. They both got snapped up within like 30 minutes of the notification from DVC resale market that they were available.I agree with this. There are a lot of people who don't like the Grand Californian and/or think it's too expensive but what they think doesn't effect how I feel about it. I'm super happy we got our resale contract.
On the other hand... if I do a wait list that day... odds are good for a declaration that will result in me getting it. OK - hope restored! This is depressing. I think my chances of snagging a 1 or 2 bedroom on booking day is very slim. Dang.
Yep. Potentially the most expensive race registration ever for some of us! The 16th is going to feel like the RD registration hunger games on steroids I think.RunDisney. 1st in three years.
VGC was walked for a month.
no DLR hotels release of Jan schedule.
VDH owners will have first exclusive stab at inventory for several weeks and runners ; especially Disney runners - are extreme
At this time, DVC owners do not need to pay for parking. It may change in the future.Has it been confirmed whether or not DVC owners will need to pay for parking at VDH?
Boy howdy, considering the increase in value of our VGC points, we just got VDH for free!Have you seen how high the VGC resale prices have been the last couple days?! WowIt's difficult for me to justify most direct purchases, but CA is the exception. I doubt we will see another DL entry point like this ever again. If there's another, it will be decades out, not years (or months for the trailers?) like all that FL swamp.
Word on the street is there will be a semi-mock up display in the Fantasy Tower at DLH starting as early as Saturday. Not a full room mock-up, but a display of furnishings from the rooms.
@casualmuppet Where does one find this, by the way? Want to go read what’s around it and such. Thanks.View attachment 758487
This is the chart I am referring to. Looks like there is one more 2 bedroom than I remembered.
I didn't notice that I couldn't see Riviera either.Correct. If I want to see Riviera then I have to use my direct contract. If I chose my resale contract then Riviera disaapears.

Bummer about VDH because I was hoping to watch the calendar for fun.

Oh no you didn’t!!It only requires a 50 point contract to VDH to play…![]()
Buy VDH? Yea I did...Oh no you didn’t!!
Can I put that banner on my signature since I have direct points and can technically book there at 7 months?Buy VDH? Yea I did...
I was wondering if this is the issue with parking. But looking at the photo the self parking for VGC would be gone too.
Really? Are you sure?I’ll be in my 70’s so I won’t care!
Yep, I plan to WL on July 27, if I don’t get what I want!On the other hand... if I do a wait list that day... odds are good for a declaration that will result in me getting it. OK - hope restored!
