Yes 90mins is crazy to queue for a ride, but then there are crazy people out there
Next year might not be as crazy, one would hope![]()
I refuse to wait that long for a kiddie ride. I have to admit that we were in line for 120 minutes for Crush when it first opened. It was SO worth the wait. You HAVE to do Crush, even if the wait will be long!
But I can wait for the crowds to die down a bit for the Toystory rides, no hurry! YET!!!!!!!!!!
Wow......they get annual fun trips like that! A week long ski trip???? We get one-day ski trips.
There was a Stitch plush in the ToT costume???? It's really too bad they don't have it anymore....I would've loved to add that to my collection of Stitches.
That playland looks so well themed! I love the giant Buzz Lightyear.
It doesn't look like you had a very eventful morning![]()
I'm back karin! So sorry for being MIA, the last few weeks have been crazy!
I read everything I missed, and loved all your updates! It was great to read about your students in Vienna and more about DLRP (You know I'll always love more pictures of that) Can't wait to hear more asap!
Wow...the Toy Story rides look so cool. Max would love them! And we generally were able to avoid long lines last year, but for some reason, I did jump into a ridiculously long line for EE at AK last year. I think it was worth, my husband, probably not so much!![]()
Same here, I don't think I would wait 50mins for TSM even though it is an awesome ride. We are defo going to try and do everything, Crush's coaster for sure as its one ride we are both looking forward to (love Crush).
Might email you a TP and see what you think, that is of course if you don't mind![]()
Yes, our pupils have a week long trip every year. Lots of one day things as well!
Yes, they used to sell a bellhop, cable eating Stitch at the ToT. I promised Dave one and when we went to pick it up they didn't sell them any more!![]()
It might not look like an eventful morning, but it was quite nice to just walk around and people watch. We seem to have outgrown the "I must ride everything a gazillion times" age!![]()
Hello, Karin! We are back from our mini trip to WDW - absolutely fabulous!
As always, must go back and catch up (Can't wait to read the updates),but have lots of time today as my family is out in the mountains (overnight) celebrating the Holiday with my son-in-law's sisters and her family. Sophia will have loads of fun with her 2 older cousins (10 & 12).
p.s. I can hardly believe it, but Disney's Snow White is on this afternoon, followed by Beauty and the Beast!! I've never seen these are regular TV channels before. Will be weird with commercials, but I'll still enjoy two of my all time favorites. Mary Poppins was on earlier! Lots of other faves have been on this afternoon as well: Notting Hill, Love Actually, the 1947 Miracle on 47th Street, A Walton's Reunion. The TV Holiday Season has commenced!![]()
Thanks for the look at DLRP. It's nice that you can get a Disney fix without crossing an ocean!
Wow, what a great education system!
That's too bad! That would've been the marriage of my two favourite things!!
Haha, I'm still definitely in that age. On my next trip, I have to beat my own record of 7 rides on ToT! And 3 rides in a row on EE![]()
Well Yuki, if I can ride something without a wait then I am all for it!![]()
It's just the waiting part that we try to skip. We were able to ride EE 6 or 7 times in September - within an hour!!!!!!!!! Got off, walked round, got on again - to an extent that the CM who looked at our KTTW during EMH, just laughed and waved us through without even showing the cards!
Yes, we WILL ride it, just not wait in line for very long. Same goes for BTM - rode it several times in a row, even without having to get out of our row during September!

Yes, no wait time is the best. I went on ToT so many times cause there was practically no line! The CM loading us onto the ride knew exactly where we wanted to sit, haha.
6 or 7 times in a row???? Karin, I'm going to beat that on my next trip![]()
Wow..you do trip reports too. I just finished reading your DLparis food report and the student trip. You are one lucky person to go on so many trips a year. Now, I'm off to ready your DLparis trip report. Thanks for sharing. I really like the Student trip report because my dd13 will be going on a class trip to Washington DC in February so, it was fun to see the photos of other kids like her. Very cool!
I have enjoyed your posts on other's reports and was veryto see you had a report going. And a nice long one at that. Kiddos are watching a movie so I am going back to read
Thanks to your handy dandy links I am all caught up. Looks like a fun trip so far! OKW looks very relaxing. And I am also enjoying ur mini report about DL Paris.
Lovely looking balloon ride! ANd even better looking lunch!Your caramel macchiato sure didn't look like that fancy picture. Did they stir it for you??
Odd. But like you say, at least you got to sit and relax for a bit; those moments are so important.
