Valet Parking - Ei$ner does it again!!!

FYI.. AllStar resorts already have the system mentioned by someone here. Your Key to The World is your room key, your park pass(if included) and your entry card to the resort. Each entrance has a guard and a gate. When first checking in the guard opens the gate. After checking in your card (in a separate lane) opens the gate. This system if installed at all resorts would drastically reduce parking abuse. Maybe with pay-valet this is the direction they are going in.

As to everything else. I fell for Disney via TV (50's & 60's) and Movies not DL or WDW. My first visit to WDW in 1975 sealed my 'love' for Disney. I could care less about 'butter', 'parking (& I have stayed onsite) or 'resort launches'. I care about what is inside MK, DS, AK & EpCot.

Now the rest of you can argue about parking and tips and butter. That leaves more of the park to me.

I have found that this rule will NOT apply to people with handicap tags, whether they are on license plates or hang tags. This is according to the person at WDW who is in charge of everything concerning disabilities. I have posted his to the disABILITIES forum.

I have also found out that 100% of the money collected will be going to Disney. The valets will remain as tip positions and they expect their income will go down.

So the valets will welcome parking a car for a disabled guest or a DVC member because they stand a better chance of getting a larger tip......
