We are traveling to DW in September 2014 but I was wondering about valet parking. We will be making breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey and Ohana. We are renting a car and staying at AKL. If I valet park, can I leave my car there all day and take the monorail back to pick up the car? Both days will be MK days!! I'm assuming I can since I'm paying to park but just wanted to make sure!!

Yes you are correct. And if you are valet parked at AKL for your trip you can just take your receipt to the other hotels and there is no additional charge.

Yes you can. But if I was having breakfast at 'Ohana, I think I would forgo paying to valet park and just go to the TTC and park there. Then, walk over to 'Ohana and then monorail to the MK for the day. Why spend the money if you don't have to.
For CM's, sure pay to valet park and then head to MK for the day. It's quicker to walk to the MK vs monorailing though. The walk over takes under 10 mins. If you take the monorail, the ride to MK itself will be almost 20 mins, not including any wait times. You can monorail back though....CR is the first stop after you leave MK.

We did this last time and the monorail had issues so we missed our breakfast reservation and had to wait for a while. We want to avoid that and $20 or so dollars isn't that big of a deal compared to the stress we encountered last time!! We considered a split stay between CR/Poly and AKL but with 2 little ones we are going to stay at AKL the entire time!!

Yes your valet parking is good all day at any of the Disney resorts so indeed if you are all ready a valet guest at your registered hotel just tell them you are going to another hotel to park and they will show you want you need to give the valet at that hotel.
