Wow where are you flying from? I just checked flights from Atlanta and for the flight alone it is over $1000.00.

He’s in the UK - apparently Spain is a very popular and economical “sun destination” from there.

Good for you! I like having a few trips on the books. It gives me something to look forward to. I have three WDW trips and one non-Disney planned right now, not counting the non- Disney one later this month. Sometimes I don’t even care about where the destination is, it’s just nice to get away.

$500 TOTAL including flights and a 5* hotel? That's got to be a typo.

Where in Spain? We went to Seville last year and I fell in love, now I want to go see all of Andalucia.

Sorry, typo, not sure how I missed that one... flights NOT included. The hotel in question is 5* but still dead cheap. It's part of the La Mange Club Resort. Features golf, tennis, swimming, free spa, restaurants, markets, cycle hire... all great fun! There's even a free shuttle service, more a taxi I guess, that will pick you up from anywhere on the resort and will take you anywhere you want to go... free of charge Oh, and there's a private beach.

ETA: Same price as a Value Resort, but infinitely more luxurious!

Then you should visit Toledo, Spain. Another absolutely magical city, I love that place.

Do you think a tour/guide/Viator is necessary for Toledo or is it manageable on your own? Will be there around last week of May if it matters.

If you do it on your own I recommend booking the trains ahead of time. We intended to do a day trip, but all of the trains were fully booked day-of (this was a random Monday in April).
