Vacation Club phone tour and $40 gift card

Has anyone received this offer in the mail? Is says if you take a 20 minute phone tour they will send you a $40 gift card. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and what it was like.

I got something like that about a year+ ago. I just called the number and talked to a nice gentleman about DVC. He was not in the least pushy, gave basic info and answered my questions. It was very painless in my case, and I got the gc which was great. He also told me to go into the DVC office in DTD (I go to Disneyland) and tell them he sent me and I would receive FPs for my party. I did that and they had no idea what I was talking about but they did give us all FPs!

That is one thing you will find with DVC Guide (sales people). They are not pushy unlike other timeshare companies. DVC Guides are very helpful and will not hound you.
They said there was no reason to be pushy because DVC really sells its self. The Guide presents the facts shows you the model suites. The Guide doesn't twist your arm to buy and keep you there for hours on end because they know once you have all the facts and figures more than likely you will be back to buy.

It was such a painless experience for us.

I did it a few years back. It was actually quite interesting and the gentleman I spoke with was very friendly. It was informative, not a sales pitch.

Yes, I've done this and it was effortless. From what I remember, the DVC guy emailed me a link to an online tour and we looked at it together. He was super informative and didn't pressure me at all. It was great!

I've had the offer twice and done it both times. Super easy and free money! We also took the DVC tour back when Kidani was under construction and got a $15 gc per person, including the kids.
