You probably already got the best deal you could have gotten (at least so far)... the webcast incentives were only for Bay Lake Tower.

Did they make it clear it was only for BLT? I heard them say they were using BLT as an example for simplicity sake. My impression was the discount might be for all resorts available. That being said I would think they would have problems selling SSR at that price when you can buy it so cheap resale.

How can we get a new Guide? We attended the webcast and called the number after the show with a question. They said they would have our Guide call us back but he never did.

Someone posted on one of these many threads about the webcast that their guide explicitly told them after the webcast that the discounts offered were only for BLT. As we've seen in the past, guides do get misinformed, so I don't really know for sure. I'll try to fish out the quote if I can find it again, but there are like 10 of these threads now about the webcast. Has anyone else heard this confirmed one way or the other?

Hi HelloConnie, You may want to call again and say you have not heard from your guide and are anxious to BUY?? I had called my Guide about a month ago to BUY BLT and did not get called back. So I gave another try this morning and SHE ANSWERED the phone!! Within 10 minutes I had purchased my 175 BLT contract!! Good Luck!! Joan

I think they purposely obfuscated on the webcast as to what properties were available. Before they started explaining how DVD works, they did mention that it applies to other properties, but they would use BLT as an example. It seemed to me like they were pushing BLT, but others were definitely available if you ask.

Current incentives are here:

At the 160-point and 200-point levels, it's $2/point better than the incentive with a referral.

At 270 points, it's $4 cheaper, at 320 it's $5 cheaper, and at 500 it's $7 cheaper per point

Is this for a particular resort?

I bought at VGC last weekend. I called my guide and he said that he could honor this pricing for me since my contract had not closed, but that I have to attend the web cast. I would infer from that that the webcast pricing is good for VGC as well.

I got an invite to a vacation as you go presentation during our upcoming stay. It is not a webcast though. Says it includes a tour of BLT rooms. Sounds like fun!
