USSSA tickets - who has purchased and USED them?

I'm looking for success or defeat stories about the tickets offered by USSSA, the youth sporting organization - if you have actually USED them at the park(s.)

http://store.usssa.com/Category/66-theme-park-tickets.aspx

This is a great savings IF your trip falls in valid dates and IF other people have had success.

Please let us know if you received them in a timely fashion, and if there were any issues at the gate. Do you get actual tickets or a voucher for pick-up? and any other details that might be helpful.

For one day tickets - were they valid at MK? That question has come up a few times in my search of the forum.

TIA - Maddle

Myself and my friends purchased and used USSSA tickets last year to Universal without any problems. The tickets came via FedEx very timely and, yes, they were actual tickets and not vouchers. We had no issue using the tickets at the park. Hope this helps ease your mind!

My family and I also purchased and used them this past April for 2 day park to park Universal with no issues at all. We rec'd them rather quickly and we park hopped both days with no problems at all. They are used just as regular tickets would be :)

We used universal tickets from them last nov. No issues at all, I will use them again. They all say youth tickets no matter the age.

Bought the 2 day hopper passes a few weeks ago that expire 9/30/14. Used them with no problems on Thursday 7/31 and yesterday 8/4. I had them shipped via fed ex. Great deal!!!:cool1:

We bought 3 day park hoppers and used them in June. Everything worked fine and we were able to set up fastpasses in advance. Plus got all the fastpasses we wanted!

Does anyone know if they charge tax and/or shipping? You have to register to go through the check out process, so I didn't want to register unless I was actually going to buy something.

anyone else with experience know if/when they put up tickets with different dates? how often do they change? since they are dated, they are very specific

They didn't charge tax but they do charge for shipping.
FedEx Overnight ($35.00)
FedEx 2 Day ($29.00)
FedEx Ground ($23.00)
Pickup from Office ($20.00)

Thanks! Now I just have to wait for the November dates to open back up.

We bought universal tickets and used them last December! We just had to sign the back of the tickets before they would let us enter the parks.

Does this mean they are only good for Disney for 3-9 year olds or can an adult use them as well?

Thanks!

No, that's just a code referring to the program they are issued under; youth sports or something like that. Like it says on the issuers website they are good for any age.

I am surprised this deal does not get more attention. Incredible savings.

I suspect that it doesn't get much attention because it appears these ticket "deals" are intended for youth and family that are attending and participating in one of the sporting events. This is why the dates are specific to the tickets. If this deal gets too much attention I wouldn't be surprised if it is limited to strictly only those who are registered participants and their family. I remember the DIsney YES Program got all sorts of attention on the boards. People would sign up for a YES class and then buy the park tickets at a discounted price. Then they would not attend the class as they didn't really want to attend the class they just wanted the deal. Now you have to attend the class or the tickets are made invalid. The ticket deal was overused and misused and changes were made to limit that happening. I would keep in mind that even though this may be a deal right now that is subject to change when the organization and Disney figures out people are buying the reduced rate tickets but not attending the events.

Wondering how fast they sell out. Is this one of those things that sells out because there is a limited amount of tickets? I am not sure that it's just intended for those attending a sports function during the dates listed or I would hope not. I would consider this a perk for those, like us, that have a child on a team that plays in USSSA tournaments.
