USSSA discount tickets

Sorry I know this is the Universal Studio thread but would like to ask :
Does anyone has experienced in buy their WDW ticket and going for upgrades? Can they be upgraded? Seems that they are selling a different type to other ticket reseller do. Theirs has expiry date and only valid with 7 days of first use?

i have bought disney park tickets from discounted places before and have upgraded them at disney.

i have not used the USSA company but others.

disney will honor any legit company's tickets for upgrading.

use the ticket to enter the park, then go to guest service to bridge the ticket to the upgrade you want to purchase.
you need to upgrade within the time period your pass is valid
example: if you bought a 5 day pass, it must be done by the 5th day.

Just ordered 4 tickets last night from the usssa store and the pick up price was changed to $35 from $17. The funny thing is that if you don't preorder tickets and opt to go to the store to purchase them, the pick up fee is $30. Since we are arriving at 3pm and plan on going the next day, I chose the fed ex ground option for $23, which will come right to our house! :)

I'd like to point out that the ticket sticky for WDW states that tickets that have date limitations on them ("valid from" and/or "valid until"), and tickets that are labeled "Sports" or some such other group designation, are not upgradeable. This would include the USSSA tickets. If upgrading tickets is critical to your plans, you may be disappointed.

Received an email at 10:22am this morning that our tickets have shipped. Very fast turnaround. Great deal! ;)

since badger girl has her trip date in her tagline,
i would assume she bought her tickets within the time frame of the ticket expiration.

I don't think that's the point. I think what the PP is saying is that any ticket sold at a discounted rate that actually has an expiration date or valid until is not able to be upgraded at all, regardless of the date.

I got my tickets in the mail yesterday. Yes, we are visiting mid-Sept so we will use ours before the 9/30 expiration date.

Looks like the 2 day park to park tix are temporarily unavailable again. Will keep an eye out for the next batch.

That's true. I have tried.

Hey everyone! I'm about to place an order for these Universal tickets through USSSA, but here's my question... we're planning on visiting Uni on 9/30, and that is the expiration date on the ticket. Does anyone know if I am correct in assuming that is the last day we'd be able to use them? (which is totally fine, that would be our last day in Uni.) :confused3

I posted a new thread, but thought I'd let this thread's followers know that USSSA has their Universal tickets with the 12/31/14 expiration available now--2 day park-to-park for $130 (plus shipping):cool1:

Never ordered from there, but I think I'm going for it. Will save us $140 (less shipping); that's some serious savings!

Awesome! Thanks for posting this. We were waiting for this, we're going 12/22-24. Just picked up 9 of the 2 day park to park tickets for our extended family for a savings of almost $500.

The tickets seem like a great deal....I am curious does anyone know if they can be combined with Halloween Horror Nights tickets to get the cheaper rate for HHN tickets like Stay and Scream.

all you need to do is show your day ticket at guest services and you will be allowed to buy the add on/ discounted stay and scream ticket.

the day ticket doesn't have to be used on the HHN night in order to get that discounted add on price.

just need to show guest services when you are buying the hhn tix that you do have a valid park day ticket.

I just ordered my tickets today and the fee for picking up at their store is $20..maybe they got too many complaints and lowered it, but yeah for all of us:yay:

anyone know how frequently they replenish? Just went online to order for our November trip and there aren't any.

Double-check...I was just now able to put one in my cart (I was surprised that they were gone already, so thought I'd check it out myself). These are the Universal 2-day park-to-park that you're trying for, right?

I hope you get them!!

They had 3 left in stock according to the site late yesterday afternoon. Then, last night, got an error message that my search didn't match their items. Same thing earlier today. Then, just before lunch, they either replenished or fixed the site. Our group saved $400! Got an email confirmation a few minutes ago that they are shipping. :cool1:

I'm so happy for you!!

We ordered a couple of the 2 day park to park tickets. There is a place for your name and signature. Should we go ahead and fill them out or will they want you to do that when you get there?
